Alexandria Mediterranean @ Cleopatra IW Clubs
In a loving and affectionate atmosphere, Alexandria Mediterranean Club
and Alexandria Cleopatra Club, along with Dr. Viola Ramsis, the Vice
President of District 95 came together on April 1, 2024, at the Sporting
Club in Alexandria to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan. The
gathering was filled with a sense of unity and warmth amongst the
members. Wishing all goodness and blessings from God

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, the Committee Members of Inner Wheel
Philadelphia Club, headed by Hanan Ghawi, visited “ Ana Huna for the
Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities” , and provided special
lockers for students and teachers to supplement the needs of the
association, whose previous requirements were provided by our past
president Hala Nassoura.
All appreciation goes to those who are responsible for this center,
which aspires to rehabilitate children with behavioral and mental
challenges by providing life and educational opportunities like other
children.
It was a visit full of joy and happiness for the club members and
children.
May God grant us the power of giving in this holy month.

IW Of New Cairo Club.
On Saturday, March 31, 2024, the IWC of New Cairo, led by Nihal El
Bakry, Lina Shaker, Rania El Kashef, and Farah Zalat, collaborated with
STEAMulation Hub under the “Shine a Light” initiative. This
collaboration focused on supporting families in need at the ‘Friends
of Brighter Tomorrow’ Association through a meaningful community
service project. The preschool children of STEAMulation Hub took an
active role in the initiative by sorting and packing food donations for
Ramadan. The “Ramadan Bags” were then delivered and distributed by
IWC to the families, ensuring they reached those in need directly.

Furthermore, with the support of District 95 Chairman, Mrs. Mona Abu
Al-Futouh, the club launched new workshops at the association. The
delegation visited the Al-Fursan field, where they learned about various
agriculture types and witnessed the first harvest of tomatoes and
strawberries. The young farmers will sell mint and herbs from this
year’s harvest. The thermal workshop participants gifted personalized
mugs to the delegation. The Al-Fursan field shared fresh mint with the
delegation, who expressed gratitude to Ms Shahinaz for her warm welcome
and generous gesture.

The day ended with a sense of gratitude and inspiration as the
delegation wished Ms Shahinaz and the association continued success in
their impactful endeavors.

On April 3, 2024, Alexandria IWC, led by Mrs. Shahira Maher, organized
an Iftar for the Absher Association for special needs, serving 160
Ramadan meals to students and their families. In attendance were the
club president, several members, and Absher Association President Mrs.
Nadia Raouf, all sharing in a joyful Ramadan celebration. Wishing
everyone a Happy Ramadan!

Under the slogan of Shine the Light , the Innerwheel Alexandria
Cleopatra Club headed by Soheir Fahmy and honorary secretary Doaa Hamdy
organized a charity Bazaar in Yacht Club Alexandria. The Bazaar hosted
33 participants, along with Alexandrian society ladies and club members,
the 27th of January 2024 taking place from 10 AM to 9 PM with all the
proceeds directed to charitable works. it was a successful Bazaar that
lasted from 10 am to 9 pm, and the proceeds of the Bazaar were directed
to charitable works.

 

Giza Club
It’s wonderful to hear about the successful surgery performed by Dr.
Amal El-Sisi on four-year-old girl Tasneem Mustafa as part of the Inner
Wheel Club of Giza’s sustainable projects. The efforts and dedication of
Mrs. Mona Gimaie and the team are truly commendable.

Carrying the theme “Shine A Light” and as part of the club’s commitment
to sustainable projects, Mrs. Didi Sourani, President of Garden City IWC
along with Mrs. Fatima Abu Hatab and Mrs. Manal Zakaria, visited the
Prophet’s Companions Home for orphans on March 24. The club has been
supporting these children since their infancy. Thankfully, they have now
progressed to secondary school and even some to university. Following
this visit, breakfast was shared with the 23 children, overseen by Mrs.
Fatima Abu Hatab, and had a wonderful time together. Additionally, the
club donated 8,000 pounds to support their cause.

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Alexandria East, IWC led by Dr. Mona Gamal
and Mrs. Saher Gazarine, visited Al Miri Hospital at the Faculty of
Medicine in Alexandria. They contributed equipment and valves for Open
Heart Surgery. The team was welcomed by Professor Dr. Akram Allam, the
head of the Cardiology Department, and Professor Dr. Ayman Nosseir, the
Director of Al Miri Hospital.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, the El Nile IW Club visited the literacy class
at El Asmarat to evaluate the students’ progress. The students underwent
individual oral and written tests to assess their comprehension of the
syllabus.
El Nile Club members congratulated the students on their progress urging
them to maintain their efforts for the upcoming final exam on May 29,
2024.
Dr. Zeinab El Ghazali and Dr. Roqaya Shalaby from the Egyptian National
Council for Women attended.
On behalf of El Nile IWC, President Mrs. Maha Serour, Treasurer Mrs.
Magda Mokhtar, and Club Secretary Mrs. Nabila Gallal were there.
At the end of the visit, snacks like kaake, biscuits, and cakes were
distributed to the students, accompanied by warm wishes for a joyful Eid
Fitr.

On Friday, April 5, the Minya IW Club, led by Mrs. Hoda Fathi,
celebrated Orphan Day with the club members, hosting 100 children from
orphan care associations in Minya Governorate villages under the theme
“Shine a Light.” The event took place at the Engineers Syndicate Club in
New Minya, where the children enjoyed breakfast, received sweets and
gifts, played in the amusement park, and had an enjoyable time before
heading back to their villages. Additionally, financial aid was provided
to five families who were part of the trip.
