Sphinx Club:-

In order to enhance the concept of friendship and cooperation between the various Innerwheel Clubs, Sphinx Innerwheel Club

headed by Mrs. Soha Salem, & Innerwheel Club of West Cairo headed by Mrs. Samia Wahba, with the

Innerwheel Club of Sharm El Sheikh headed by Mrs. Zozo Al-Abd; all the three clubs participated in organizing a joint meeting in Al-Basha Restaurant in Zamalek. They hosted one of the psychiatry scientists in Egypt, Professor Dr. Tarek Okasha, and the topic of the talk was “the connection between the brain and the body.”

Questions were answered regarding some psychological topics. It was an enjoyable meeting.

Mansorah Club:-

Under the slogan “Shine a light” and in the presence of District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, and other prominent members of different clubs, IW club of Mansoura with President Shadia El Ashry, R.S Nagwa Kandil, attended at the annual celebration held by Innerwheel Al-Jazira Sports Club, at the headquarters of the “Nahdet Al-Mansourieh Association,” headed by Mrs. Enas Omar… The graduation of a number of female trainees from the tailoring and sewing course, and a number of participants in the literacy class followed by an exhibition of the workshop’s handicrafts and production. The new line of clothing for male and female workers for various professions was also displayed, as well as a section for products manufactured using the system of rehabilitating available raw materials.

Thanks & appreciation to Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti for her abundant efforts over the years and to the members of Innerwheel Al-Jazira Sports Club.

 

Inner wheel Nasr City

Under the slogan “Shine a Light”and in the presence of District chairman Mrs. Mona Abou Al-Foutouh, Members of Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, & it’s president Mrs. Sherine Arafa participated in the celebration held by the Inner Wheel Wheel Club of Al-Gezira Sporting Club at “Nahdet Masr Association.”

The celebration was held to certify and empower women for their achievements in Erasing Literacy and Tayloring Courses.

Certificates were given by Mrs. Azza El Mofty, President of Al-Gezira club and Engineer Ennas Omar Chairman of “Nahdet Masr Association” for a number of women and girls for their great achievements.

They explained and demonstrated the different methods they applied through the Association to qualify and empower women and girls in the area.

An exhibition was held with excellent quality and reasonable prices.

Prominent members of different Inner Wheel clubs attended the event.

They expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the efforts exerted to qualify and empower women and girls to meet with the UN and Inner Wheel goals.

 

On October 18th, 2023, Dr.Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, Vice president of Cairo University together with Ms. Mona Aboul Fotouh President of Innerwheel district 95 Egypt- Jordan, have inaugurated the annual clothes and home accessories fair & exhibition of Innerwheel Lotus Egypt headed by Ms.Maha Khairy president of Innerwheel Lotus Misr. The fair is targeting needy Cairo University students and the revenue is for the students who can’t pay their university annual dues. Dr.Sami praised the quality, quantities and the elegance of the various products.

Gezira Sporting Club in the presence of Mrs. Mona Aboul Fetouh ,chairman of District 95,& Mrs. Fatma Barrada president of ِAl Tahrir Club, held a Charity Exhibition for the benefit of “ The Island of Goodness” in favor of the workers of Gezira Sporting Club . The two days Exhibition was to support the Egyptian industries and the marketing of small manufacturers. Many Members of different clubs participated in the event.

In response to the initiative launched by District 95, to provide relief to our brothers in Gaza & in response to the guidance of the President of the Republic of Egypt, the District in cooperation with the Red Crescent collected donations adhering to the items specified by the Egyptian Red Crescent in accordance with the requests of the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Port Said Club members headed by Mrs. Maha Al Mogy went to the Port Said Red Crescent & presented their donations. May God reward them with all goodness.

 

Port Said Club:-

Members of Port Said Inner Wheel Club, & President Maha Al-Mogy, visited the “Nursing Home” and the “Underage girls’ Home” in Port Said and offered some sweets on the occasion of “Birth of the Prophet’s Muhammad.”

The club members were welcomed us, with whom it was agreed to plant some fruit trees in both homes in line with the national project for District 95/ Egypt & Jordan.

In The Month Of October known as “Pink October “.

The members of Alexandria Inner Wheel Club with president Mrs Shahira Maher organized an awareness lecture on early detection of breast cancer at the “Woman and Child Protection center” at the Walid Zein El Din Charitable Foundation in El Seyouf area.

Dr. Bahiga Hafez Professor of Health at the faculty of Medicine, gave a lecture entitled “Breaking the Silence” where she explained the importance of early diagnosis and treatment as a protection from breast cancer.

Dr. Bahiga also explained the various signs and symptoms that require immediate examination as well as the common causes of their occurrence.

She answered the questions and inquiries of the ladies.

At the end of the lecture, Alexandria club members distributed cards for free mammograms at the “Spot Oncology Center.”

We shine a light on the continuous warm relationship between the clubs of District 95, Egypt and Jordan. We also shine a light on cancer patients, especially breast cancer.

On Monday, 16 / 10 , the Innerwheel of Amman Philadelphia Club, headed by Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, held a special meeting with His Excellency Sakher Al-Ajlouni about nutritional awareness of contemporary diseases, especially breast cancer. His Excellency emphasized that excessive obesity is one of the most important causes of cancer, including breast cancer.

Then Mrs. Mona Obaid, a breast cancer survivor, spoke about her experience during the disease and the treatment phase.

The meeting was distinguished by the participation of Mrs. Nahla Qubain, the national representative , Mrs. Rula Hawi Farraj, Vice President of the District 95, Mrs. Alia Alian, the website master for District 95, Mrs. Noha Asfour, the President of Amman Club, and Mrs. Dina Alawneh, President of Petra Club.

Friendship, love, and human experience are the most important things that unite the members of Innerwheel clubs worldwide

Under the slogan, “Shine a Light,” and in line with the national project of District 95/ Egypt and Jordan, and coinciding with the World Environment Day 2023, under the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution, ”: Inner Wheel Club Alexandria East, with Prof. Mona Gamal Eldin Ibrahim, and a group of club members held a beach cleaning campaign to clean Ras Eltin beach in Bahary district, Alexandria on the 14th of October.

The campaign was organised in collaboration with the Environmental Club at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in new Borg El Arab city, Alexandria.

Participants collected garbage and various waste from the beach, including plastic bottles, cigarettes, food wrappers and other materials that pollute the environment.

They also painted some walls and garbage baskets thus encouraging the public to visit the beach and throw the garbage in its proper place.

Innerwheel Alexandria East Club always strives to serve the community and support its various institutions.
