Exchange Innerwheel Club Flags.
Under the slogan(Shine a Light)and for promoting, developing friendship,
and cooperation between Innerwheel clubs around the world, a meeting was
held on Saturday 18th November at Pyramids Park Hotel between Inerwheel
ElNile club, D95/Egypt & Jordan and Inwrwheel club of Coimbatore west.
Both clubs cordially exchanged Club flags. The meeting was orchestrated
in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere

Naser City – distinguished projects – care for the environment

Naser City.
November 20th .
 The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, plays a major role in serving the
community since its creation in 1997.
It has adopted its distinguished projects through the Friends of a
Bright Tomorrow Association, which is a civil society association
registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity (Social Affairs). No.
3641 of 1989.
 In line with the Mega project of D95 to care for the environment,
Nasr City club has succeeded in establishing some projects in this
field.
It renovated and completed the association’s 20-meter-long greenhouse.
They
 expanded the greenhouse and supplied it with simple fruiting & aromatic
plants.
 An offer was presented to complete the greenhouse structure from MAS
COMPANY.

Gezeira Sporting Club – annual charity clothes exhibition – sustainable projects

Gezeira Sporting Club.
November 18th.
Under the motto”Shine a light”
On November 13&14 the annual charity clothes exhibition of IW Gezeira
Sporting Club headed by Mrs Aza El Mofty & the distinguished members was
held at Helwan University at El Fostaat Hall. The exhibition lasted 2
successful days.
The faculty Vice president of Hilwan University
Dr. Waleed el Sorougy, “ and Dr Ashraf Reda president of the art &
culture complex attended the opening.
They were impressed by the diversity & quality of the garments and the
reasonable prices.
The Income of the Exhibition was allocated for the club sustainable
projects. Some donation was given to the university charitable projects.

Inner wheel Club of Cairo West – Sustainable projects – “Awladi Association” Visit

Innerwheel Club of Cairo West.

November 17th.

On Thursday, November 16th, 2023, a delegation from Inner Wheel Club of Cairo West visited one of the club’s sustainable projects,

“Awladi Association” in Maadi.

They inspected the majority of the association’s buildings in the presence of the director, & met some children in a variety of scholastic years.

The Club’s President, Mrs. Samia Wahby, along with the Club Treasurer, Dr. Zeinab El-Ghazali & Past President, Eng. Riri Kotb, presented the club’s annual donation to support and sponsor the children in the association.

A total of Twenty Thousand Egyptian Pounds (20,000 LE).

The association’s centers were inspected.

The club showed its appreciation to the staff for their remarkable efforts in managing and supporting this profound association.

At the end of the visit, some photos were taken with the happy children.

Giza Pyramids Club – Nile Cruise – primary objectives

Giza Pyramids Club.

November 16th.

The Inner-Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids, headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour,
organized a cruise on the Nile in line with the primary objectives of
the innerwheel clubs in terms of supporting friendship between members
from different clubs and in alignment with the club slogan for this year
(Shine a Light).

The club members spent an enjoyable friendly time in the presence of
Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, chairman of District 95 with distinguished
members from various clubs, including Cairo, Mansoura, Giza, Cairo
South, Cairo North, Al-Gezira, Garden City, and Tahrir.

Following the cruise, the members gathered for lunch at the Cairo Yacht
Club, where they celebrated the birthdays of two beloved ladies born
this month, Mrs Jehan Fahmy and Eman Selim. The outing concluded with
anticipation and promises for future meetings.

Sphinx Club – Wadi al-Rimal Resort Visit

November 14th.

Within the framework of friendship Sphinx Innerwheel Club headed by Mrs.
Soha Salem, organized a one night trip to Wadi al-Rimal Resort in Wadi
al-Natroun on Saturday, November 11th/2023. A large number of club
members participated along with Mrs. Ninette Sharara – from Alexandria
IWC, Mrs. Hala Hagrass and Mrs. Reem Nazih from Giza IWC, and Mrs. Mona
El-gamaie from Nasr City IWC. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful trip.

Nasir City Club – “Help Gaza” campaign

Nasir City Club.

November 13th.

Mrs.Shahinaz Hashem the Chairman of “ Asdekaa Alghad Almoshrek
Association” and a member of Nasr City Inner Wheel club, visited the
Egyptian Red Crescent Headquarters with some students to participate in
“Aghitho Gaza” “Help Gaza” campaign.

They donated money and contributed in packing boxes.

This activity was exerted to connect male and female students with
external events and encourage them to do charitable work.

Mrs. Sherine Arafa, President of Nasr City club and members extended
their appreciation for Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem and the Vocational
Rehabilitation Department of the Association for their tremendous
efforts, good management and guidance.

Petra Club – Gaza Charity event

Petra Club
November 8th.
In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra
organized a charitable fundraising event to provide essential
humanitarian aid to Gaza amidst challenging times through the Hashemite
Aid Fund. The event featured a serene walk through the forests of
Al-Kamaliah area, accompanied by a delightful traditional Palestinian
breakfast. Club members and esteemed guests came together to support
this noble cause, showcasing unity and compassion in action

Alexandria club – Plastic Surgery lecture

Alexandria club.
November 8th.
‎On Monday, November 6, 2023
The IWC of Alexandria headed by Mrs. Shahira Maher, hosted Professor Dr.
Mohamed El Sayed El Shahat, “Consultant in Plastic Surgery and Body
Shaping, Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and Member
of the Royal College of Surgeons in England,” to a seminar on what is
new in the field of Plastic Surgery. The seminar was held at the Trianon
Salon in the presence of members from Alexandria clubs (Nozha,
Mediterranean and Capital).
Many prominent members of Inner Wheel attended the seminar.
They enjoyed listening to the valuable information given by Dr.
El-Shahat, who also answered many of the members’ questions with a
comprehensive explanation.

New Cairo Club – Book Club meeting

IWC of New Cairo, headed by Mrs. Nihal El Bakry, in coordination with
IWC of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Sherine Arafa, met for their second
cultural ‘Book Club’ at the Radisson Blu Hotel to discuss the book
‘Naomi and Her Sisters’ by Hisham Al-Khashin, which explores the concept
of Hypothetical Identity Disorder, a mental illness characterized by
significant changes in shape, appearance, and behavior due to the
patient’s past painful memories and experiences.
During the discussion, various questions were raised concerning the
reality of this disease and the level of accountability the patient
bears for their actions. Additionally, an analysis of the book’s
characters and the accuracy of certain medical information was
conducted. The writer skillfully achieved social awareness by addressing
several social issues and presenting them in a thought-provoking manner.
At the end of the session Mrs. Nihal -Elbakry gave a gift to all
attendees.
She took a moment to reflect on the challenging circumstances of the
world today, emphasizing the importance of empathy and compassion. The
audience left the gathering, carrying with them a renewed sense of unity
and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
