Port Said Club – Port Said University visit

Port Said Club.
 Professor Dr. Ayman Ibrahim, the President of tamer, welcomed a
delegation from the Innerwheel Association, along with Professor Dr.
Hassan Ghattas, the Vice President of the University for Building and
Community Affairs, and Professor Maha Elmogy, President of Port Said
club.
Dr. Ayman expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting the
university’s ongoing commitment to community engagement. He discussed
the university’s various initiatives aimed at serving the people of Port
Said District, particularly through the university hospital, and
outlined upcoming services.
They were briefed on the services provided; the most important of which
is the first phase of outpatient clinics.
The delegation also toured the university facilities, including the
hospital, and was briefed on the available services, emphasizing the
university’s dedication to collaboration with the community and ongoing
communication with Inner Wheel and its members.

Alexandria El Nouzha – In support of the national initiative for the environment

Alexandria El Nouzha.

In support of the national initiative for environmental preservation and afforestation, members of the IWC of Alexandria El Nozha, led by May El Deeb and Treasurer Hanaa Sabry, visited a social community center for rehabilitating boys on January 4, 2024. The house was inspected in order to meet the living needs of the boys residing in the home.

The ladies planted tangerine, lemon, guava, basmala, and apricot trees.

Sphinx Club – Christmas and New Year’s celebrations

Sphinx Club.

On Saturday, December 30, 2023, Sphinx IW club led by Mrs. Soha Salem, hosted a breakfast at the Diplomatic River Club, embracing the year’s theme “Shine a Light” in celebration of Christmas and New Year’s. Among the attendees were Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, along with members of the board, presidents and members from various Innerwheel clubs, and other guests. During the event, Mrs. Reem Maguid delivered a brief speech highlighting the origins of the Christmas tree in Pharaonic civilization. The gathering along the Nile fostered a friendly atmosphere , with hopes for more events to support their charitable projects.

Philadelphia Club – support sustainable projects – visit “Our Lady of Peace Center “ for Children with Disabilities

Philadelphia Club.

The Philadelphia IW club, led by Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, annually supports sustainable projects such as visiting “Our Lady of Peace Center “ for Children with Disabilities. On Wednesday, December 13, the committee members provided a prosthetic leg for an emergency case, enabling the child to move like any other person. Additionally, as part of their yearly tradition, the committee members distributed Christmas candy to the children at the center. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed both financially and emotionally, bringing joy to the children’s faces. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Club for their efforts!

Alexandria Mediterranean – charity party to celebrate Christmas

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the Alexandria Mediterranean IW club led by president Dr. Eman Shafshak, Secretary Shadia El-Derini, Treasurer Sohair El-Fouly, organized a charity party to celebrate Christmas. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including

D95 chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, DV Dr. Viola Ramsis, Mrs. Nelly Helmy, Mrs. Samia Hatata, Mrs. Mona Aref, Mrs. Hala Hagras, Mrs. Ghada Rahmi, D Editor, Mrs. Afaf Ismail, Mrs. Sohair Fahmy, President of Capital Club & Dr. Nevine Abdulrasoul president of Cleopatra Club.

During the event, Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh officially inaugurated the new Cleopatra Club. The Mediterranean Club honored Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh for her contributions and projects in the region, as well as her continuous support for the clubs.

Mrs. Samia Hatata was also recognized for receiving the Margrette Golding Award, and Dr. Viola Ramsis was honored as the founder of the two new IW clubs Alexandria Capital & Alexandria Cleopatra.

The ceremony included a special performance by the singer Wael Kamal and DJ Mohamed Fouad.

In addition to the ceremony, the club organized a charity bazaar, with all proceeds dedicated to the club’s charitable projects. Special thanks were extended to club member Soha Al-Abd for her stunning decorations, and Mr. Mohamed Hisham Al-Abd for providing delicious food and fulfilling all requests. The club also expressed gratitude to Mr. Hisham Al-Abd, the owner of the Royal Hall, for flawlessly organizing the party. The presence of all attendees was highly appreciated and brought light to the event.

El Nile IW Club – lunch gathering to celebrate Christmas and New Year

Christmas lunch.

El Nile IW Club, led by President Mrs. Maha Serour, in the presence of D95 chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Alfutuh organized a delightful lunch gathering to celebrate Christmas and the upcoming New Year. The event took place on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Gigi’s restaurant in Arkan. The atmosphere was filled with an abundance of friendship and happiness, making it a truly joyful occasion.

Giza Club – Christmas Celebration Party

Giza Club.

Giza IW Club organized a Christmas Celebration Party on December 23rd.

Ms. Mona Gemaie, the Club President, and Ms. Mona Abo El-Fotoh, the District 95 chairman attended the celebration.

The party was brimming with joy, happiness, and friendship. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Al-Rahma Center, which supports challenged children.

As the year draws to a close, we extend our warm wishes to everyone for a happy new year.

Garden City Club – clothing exhibition at the Faculty of Physical Education in Zamalek

Garden City Club.

A clothing exhibition took place on December 24 and 25 at the Faculty of Physical Education in Zamalek. It was organized by Innerwell Garden City, led by Mrs. Didi Al-Sourani, in collaboration with District 95/Egypt & Jordan, led by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh.

The purpose of the exhibition was to support female students, which is one of the club’s ongoing projects. Dr. Amal Abdullah, the Dean of the College, inaugurated the exhibition and praised the club’s dedication in assisting female students.

Amman IWC – Home of Peace “Mother Teresa” visit

Amman IWC.

In a philanthropic endeavor during the Christmas season, Mrs. Nuha Asfour, President of IWC of Amman, along with the club’s secretary Mrs. Hind Dajani, visited the Home of Peace “Mother Teresa” on December 26, 2023. They graciously provided essential supplies aligning with the center’s requirements. This marks the third consecutive year of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman’s ongoing support, addressing the needs of the elderly at the center.

Alexandria Capital Club – Social Education House for Boys Care visit

Alexandria Capital Club.

On Wednesday, December 27th, 2023,

In accordance with the national project for environmental preservation and afforestation, Alexandria Capital club members , led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, and secretary Dr. Ola Ewais, paid a visit to

the Social Education House for Boys Care

(Social unit for child care).

During the visit, the house was inspected, and various requirements were identified.

Additionally, vegetable seedlings including onions, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, and strawberries were planted,

as well as tangerine, lemon, guava, basmala, and pawpaw trees.

This initiative aims to fulfill the living needs of the boys residing in the home.
