The IWC of El Nile held “Ladies of Art” , the first exhibition to include the works of artists who are IW members.

The Inner Wheel Club of El Nile held “Ladies of Art,” the first exhibition to include the works of artists who are IW members. “Ladies of Art” was conceived and organized by IWC of El Nile president, Mrs. Amal Pasha, under the auspices of D95 (Egypt and Jordan) Chairman, Mrs. Nora Fayek. Writer Mrs. Mona Ragab inaugurated the exhibition, in which ten female artists from the various IW clubs participated during the month of women and art.

The opening was attended by D95 Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek,PIIW BD Mrs. Laila Al-Aswad, IPDC Mrs. Hala Hagras, Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza El Mufti, ISO Mrs. Rime Nazih, PDC Mrs. Awatef Al-Nasharti, as well as the incoming Chairman (23-24) Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh and the incoming Honorary Secretary Mrs. Omnia Hanna.

Also in attendance were Ms. Hanaa El Sadat, journalist writer Mrs.Nahed Hamza, journalist writer Wafaa Al-Ghazali, editor-in-chief of Akhbar Al-Youm, Eng. Soha El Kadi, members of IWC El Nile, and many guests.

One of the exhibition’s objectives is to deepen the role of art in developing friendship among the members of the Inner Wheel Clubs, and to encourage the practice of business and artistic activities among the members. Each artist participated with four paintings that expressed the role of women in the life of the family and society. The methods of artistic expression in the paintings represented different schools of art.

The artists who participated in the exhibition were Amal Pasha, artist and exhibitor Laila El Aswad, Azza Megahed,  Houria Farghali, Zainab Amer, Jaida Zakaria, Sanaa Al-Serougy, Sonia El Shazly, Soheir Morcos and Maha Bedeis

Joint Meeting between IWC of New Cairo & IWC of Nasr City to discuss the book “Kan” written by Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed.

On March 2, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal El-Bakry, and the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, held a joint meeting at the Air Force Club to discuss the book “Kan” written by Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed.

The symposium delved into the human psyche by raising crucial questions about freedom, peace, and the search for homelands such as:

Are freedom and peace limited to certain people? What are the limits of cruelty and human greed? Are Western societies characterized by complete neutrality or does racism rule everywhere?

The seminar was attended by Mrs. Siham El Gohary, the founder of Nasr City Club and International IW Board Member, Awatef El Nasharty Past District Chairman,members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr ,members of different IWCs and members of the Book Club. The gathering was characterized by friendship, laughter, and the attendees thanked Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed for her patience and for the interesting debates.

The visit of the D95 Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek and the Executive committee to Mansoura and Tanta Clubs

The visit of the D95 (Egypt & Jordan) Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek and the Executive committee to Mansoura and Tanta Clubs on March 18, 2023.

The ceremony started with the national anthem. Then, Mrs. Basma Saleh, the President of IWC of Mansoura, welcomed Ms. Nora Fayek, D95 Chairman and the members of the Executive committee, Mrs. Afaf Maged, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Enaya Shararah, Deputy National Representative, Ms. Hala Hagras, Past Chairman, Mrs. Azza Al-Mofti, the Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Rime Nazih, the International Service organizer, Ms. Fatma Abu Hatab, the Editor, Mrs. Mervat El-Azzouni, the webmaster, Ms. Amira Aref, the president of IWC of Tanta, the Past NR, Nadia El Mikati, the Past District Chairmen, Mrs. Awatef El Nasharty and Mrs. Mona Aref, and the coming D95 Chairman, Ms. Mona Aboul Fotouh, and Vice Chairman Mrs. Viola Ramsis. She also welcomed all IW members from different IWCs in Cairo, Alexandria, Tanta, Port Said and Ismailia.

In her speech, the D95 Chairman Mrs. Fayek, praised the projects of the two Clubs, and expressed her thanks and appreciation. The Presidents of IWC of Mansoura and IWC of Tanta presented the projects and activities of their clubs.

Symbolic Gifts were exchanged between the D95 Chairman and the presidents of the two Clubs, Mrs. Basma Saleh and Ms. Amira Aref. IWC of Mansoura recognized Mrs. Afaf Maged, the Vice Chairman, for her honorable history with the Inner Wheel in general and the Mansoura Club in particular. To mark Mother’s Day, IWC of Mansoura gave a symbolic gift to Mrs. Fatma Hakee as an expression of love and thanks.

Following the celebration, the IW members visited the Bazar then had lunch in an atmosphere of friendship, fun and love.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia hosted Ms Helen Banayan Abu Khader the owner of Emulsion company for cosmetics.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia had a festive lunch celebrating this occasion on Monday March the 20th at the restaurant Ozz in an atmosphere filled with love, friendship and happiness.
Mrs Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi, the president of the club, along the executive committee members welcomed the general club members and the friends of the club where they all exchanged good wishes in a joyful, happy and positive atmosphere.
Ms Helen Banayan Abu Khader the owner of Emulsion company for cosmetics presented a speech about the best way of facial skin care and the best products to use. She gave away some sample gifts.
Mr Ramzi Khouri the owner of Medica also gave away some gifs to all the ladies and also l’occitane distributed vouchers.
The festive lunch was accompanied by a special music and songs that brought up all emotions that glorify all mothers of the world.

IWC of Cairo organized a celebration at the Jasmine House for the Elderly in 6th of October City

The Inner Wheel Club of Cairo headed by Dr. Wagida Anwar and a number of club members, organized a celebration at the Jasmine House for the Elderly in 6th of October City on Monday, March 20, 2023 in cooperation with Golden Years Foundation. The ceremony was attended by Mrs.Nora Fayek, D 95 , Egypt and Jordan, Chairman and Mrs.Azza Al-Mufti, Honorary Secretary, Mr. Adel Abdel-Baqi, President of the Rotary Club of Cairo, Mrs. Abeer Essam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Laylat al-Qadr Foundation, and members of different IW and Rotary Clubs, and guests. . In an atmosphere of fun and pleasure, to the tunes of music lunch was served to celebrate Mother’s Day. Special thanks and appreciation to those who contributed to the continuation of the activities of the Jasmine house.

IWC of Nile and Rotary Club of Mansouria hosted the Egyptian writer Mrs.Mona Aref

On Tuesday, March 14, IWC of Nile and Rotary Club of Mansouria hosted the Egyptian writer Mrs.Mona Aref. She talked about her book, “The Girl of the Wind“ and gave a touch on the energy of places and their impact on the soul.

Both clubs extended their thanks and appreciation to Mrs.Aref. It was a wonderful evening that gave positive energy to all the attendees.

D 95 Egypt and Jordan celebrated International Women’s Day at Safir Hotel in Cairo.

Distinguished women from different sectors were invited as speakers to talk about their success stories, the challenges they went through as women in the society. Appreciation Certificates were presented to Women from different fields honoring their achievements.

The Chairman of D 95 Mrs. Nora Fayek in her opening speech welcomed the guests and the IW members. She highlighted the important role of women in the society.

D95 National Representative Mrs. Suzan Kilani congratulated all women on the occasion, announcing the theme chosen on the International Women’s Day by the IIW “ Embrace Equity “

Female public figures were invited to attend this special occasion as well.

Founder and Chairman of Yasmin El-Samra Charitable Foundation which supports and helps children with Epidermolysis bullous patients in Egypt and some Arab countries.

⁃ Mrs. Rabab Abdelati, A Rotarian and an Interior Designer with many recognitions. She was appointed as A Good Will Ambassador.

District 95 (Egypt & Jordan) held a workshop at the Automobile Club in Cairo.

Mrs. Nora Fayek, D 95 Chairman, opened the session, then Mrs. Hala Hagrass Past Chairman, Azza Al-Mofti, Honorary Secretary, Omaima Ezzat, Treasurer, Mervat El Azzouni, Webmaster, and Reem Nazih, ISO, each spoke about their respective areas. Mrs. Nelly Helmy, Extension Chairman, spoke next about the constitution of the Inner Wheel. The floor was opened for questions after that.‏ The meeting ended at 2 pm.

In Celebration of IWD , the IWC of Petra Organized an event at Segreta’s Restaurant

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, organized an event at Segreta’s Restaurant in the Amman St. Regis Hotel, on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

The D95 Vice Chairman in Jordan Mrs. Abeer Dajani honored us with her presence, and her speech delivered on this occasion.

The event began with honoring three creative women in the fields in which they work.

Dr. Manal Jarrar is the General Manager of the National Insurance Company, she is the first female received the title of General Manager of an insurance company at the level of Arab world, bearing in mind that this position was exclusive to men.

Jarrar was included on the list of the 100 most powerful Arab businesswomen in the Middle East and North Africa region, according to Forbes magazine, for seven years in a row.

Dr. Fadia Samara is a health policy expert and activist in the field of promoting patients’ rights. Samara heads the “Himmetna” Foundation and serves as its CEO. Their mission is to consolidate the right of all patients to receive proper treatment in a fair and safe environment and under conditions that preserve their dignity and humanity.

Dr. Maha Otoum is a distinguished Jordanian poet. She teaches modern criticism in the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Jordan.

President of IWC of Petra handed over a cash donation to Mrs. Taima’a Kawar,  the President of the Jordan Education for Women Empowerment and Learning Society (JEWELS) , as an education tuition of an outstanding university female student.

Mrs. Khoulud Abu Aisheh Bakr, IWC of Petra member, personal stylist and color consultant, gave a useful demonstration on how women can coordinate their appearance in line with their personality.

The atmosphere at “Segreta” was brimming with joy during the “Question and Answer” segment and the distribution of gifts to the winners.

Inner Wheel Club of El Nile Egypt under the presidency of Amal Pasha

On Sunday 19th February in Le Pasha Boat, Zamalek. Perry Taher started off the meeting by a mourning stand for the spirit of Hanaa Rady, from the IWC Club of Cairo North and also for the victims’ spirits of the Syria and Turkey Earthquake.

Dr. Wasseem El Sissy spoke in many topics that he selected in accordance with the attendance requests. He spoke about the ancient Egyptians, who are not to be called Pharaohs, but correctly, ancient Egyptians. He spoke about religion, public and social life as well as the refined behaviors of the ancient Egyptians.

He mentioned the crucial role of women and how the ancient Egyptians used to respect women. Ancient Egyptian women had very important roles in the public life, and they also ruled the country.

He ended his interesting topics by speaking about the Egyptians and how their genes strongly match our ancient ancestors like King Tutankhamun.

All attendees were very impressed with the session.

In the end, Perry Taher presented Dr. El Sissy with the Club’s honorary shield
