Inner Wheel Club D95

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, the members of the Sharm El Sheikh Club donated the amount of 60,000 pounds for corneal transplantation. The cost of the operation is between 12 and 15 thousand pounds for Al-Qasr Al-Ain Hospital, Department of Ophthalmology in the presence of Dr. Sherif Jamal Al-Din and the responsible director.

In the presence of women members of the club Maha Samaha, Maha Rajab and Hanaa Mahtadi.

The President of Inner Wheel Club of Garden City Mrs. Nehad Badawy and the Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts opened the annual charitable exhibition for the university students at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek.

The Dean expressed his admiration for the level of clothing displayed and its humble price.

The exhibition lasted for two days Sunday 16 and Monday 17 of December.

The exhibition income goes to pay the fees of the students who can’t afford college fees.

On 15 December, Inner Wheel Club of Giza, under the presidency of Mrs. Afaf Suliman and members of the club, visited Qatr Al Nada Orphanage and presented gifts to the orphanage girls. Then we met for launch at Caviar Seafood restaurant with the members of Al-Giza Club, Cairo South Club and Cairo North Club in a gathering filled with friendship and love.

On 15 December 2018, Inner Wheel Club Alexandria headed by Mrs. Radwa Al-Shazly and a number of female club members visited El Raml Pediatric Hospital and they donated medical supplies and clothes for the children.

The hospital is run by the Ministry of Health and serves approximately 1,000 children daily, including patient’s clinics, hospital patients and intensive care unit.

On Wednesday, December 12, Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City under the presidency of Mrs. Hadeel Shatat and in participation with Rotary Club Nasr City under the presidency of Mr. Nabil El-Deeb hosted renowed scientist Farouk El-Baz at Le Méridien Heliopolis.

The seminar was attended by Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti and a number of clubs members with an invitation from Mrs. Awatef El Neshrty former president of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan 2016/2017.

The seminar was attended by IWCs Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti and a large number of IWCs members and she spoke about the treasures of Western Sahara. The seminar was very interesting and enjoyable.

The president of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan Mrs. Dina Gharib and Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti paid a visit to Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx. The meeting was attended by a large number the club members and it was an atmosphere full of love and friendship. The club president, Mrs. Abeer Ezzat, talked about this year project 2018/2019 and what was accomplished in the first half of Inner Wheel year. The projects are a clothing exhibition for Arabic Music Institute students and donating for a corneal transplant operation to children, which the club has been working on for six years.

The IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordon president spoke about this year projects that concerns women and girls and she talked about her suggestion on conducting seminars about problems such as domestic violence, female genital mutilation, etc. She also made some observations and explained some of the articles of Inner Wheel Constitution.

Mrs. Dina Ghorab presented the Inner Wheel Badge to two new members.

On December 10 at 1 pm at El Pasha boat. A cultural seminar was held for its guest and speaker poet and writer Farouk Gouida. Inner Wheel Club of Sharm El-Sheikh organized the seminar under the presidency of Mrs. Nelly Ghaita in partnership with Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, headed by Mrs. Nehad Badawy, Inner Wheel Club of West Cairo under the presidency of Mrs. Suha Shams and Al-Mansoura Club under the presidency of Mrs. Nariman Abdullah.

The seminar was attended by IWCs National Delegate Mrs. Laila Al-Aswad and Bulliten Editor, Mrs. Iman Tarshoubi and IWCs members and other various clubs. The guest told us on the importance of dealing with negativities our society is currently facing. Attendees discussed with him in many issues that concerns our beloved Egypt and they enjoyed the interesting dialogue.

In the end of the seminar, the Inner Wheel Club of Sharm El- Sheikh offered a souvenir to the honorable guest.
