Annual Celebration & Advocacy for Hearing-Impaired Individuals

The Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia hosted a heartwarming Iftar
at Levante Restaurant on Monday, March 17, 2025. Chaired by Club
President Maha Shaban, the gathering was a celebration of generosity,
compassion, and unity. The event coincided with the upcoming Mother’s
Day and the fasting period of Christian sisters, making it a truly
special and blessed occasion.

A Night of Giving & Impact:

The evening commenced with a heartfelt welcome speech by Mrs. Maha
Shaban, who expressed deep gratitude for the generous donations and
unwavering support for the club’s humanitarian initiatives. She
highlighted the club’s annual advocacy project, which contributed
10,000 dinars towards the establishment and equipment of a hearing
screening room for children and adults in Hittin Camp/Shneller,
benefiting over 125,000 people.

A Celebration of Community & Generosity:

The event was filled with warmth and joy, featuring the distribution of
gifts and admission tickets, adding to the festive spirit. Guests
enjoyed a delightful spread of traditional Ramadan cuisine, fostering a
sense of togetherness and appreciation.

Closing Remarks:

In her concluding remarks, Mrs. Maha Shaban extended heartfelt thanks to
all attendees for their support and generosity, which played a vital
role in the success of the event and the club’s charitable
initiatives.

This memorable evening was a testament to the power of community,
compassion, and advocacy, reinforcing the Inner Wheel Club’s commitment

Spreading Hope through Charity Support to Blinds, Children with Special needs and Orphans

needs and Orphans

Under the theme “The Heartbeat of Humanity,” on Monday, February 17,
2025, as part of its ongoing sustainable projects, the Inner Wheel Club
of Mansoura, led by Ms. Shadia Al-Ashry, visited the Al-Nour Wal Amal
Association for the Blind.

Years ago, the club initiated a program to teach mothers of blind
children how to read Braille, enabling them to support their children’s
education and help them become active members of society. The delegation
was warmly received by Ms. Effat Abdel-Jalil, a board member of the
association and a fellow member of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura.

During the visit, President Shadia presented the club’s annual
donation check of EGP 10,000. The event was filled with hope and
optimism for a brighter future for these children.

As the second half of the holy month began, the Inner Wheel Club of
Mansoura continued its annual tradition by visiting Dar Al-Nabaa, a
center for children with special needs. The club has been supporting
this center for many years. During the visit, members served Iftar meals
to the children and staff and also provided a cash donation.

The delegation then proceeded to the Health Improvement Association for
the Care of Orphan Girls, an organization dedicated to sheltering,
educating, and supporting orphaned girls, including assistance with
their future marriages. The club, which has been following up with this
home for years, provided Iftar meals for the girls and staff, along with
a cash donation.

In total, donations to Dar Al-Nabaa and the Health Improvement
Association amounted to EGP 15,000. The visit left everyone with a sense
of fulfillment and renewed energy, inspiring them to continue giving and
supporting those in need.

On Monday, March 10, 2025,
Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
And on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Inner Wheel Club
of Alexandria, headed by Mrs. Mona El Hakim distributed 53 coupons, each
worth 300 EGP.

34 coupons were distributed to the “Absher Association for Special
Needs” to support families of people with special needs.

19 coupons were also distributed to the “Zamzam Flowers of Life
Association for Orphans.”

Dental Health Care

As part of efforts to support health care initiatives and enhance
medical services, a donation of advanced sterilization equipment was
made to the Dental Research Center in Alexandria on Monday, March 19,
IWC of Alexandria Sporting in the presence of Mrs. Amani Slim, honorary
secretary Mrs. Hala El Ghitany, and club member Mrs. Shahenda Sharf El
Din.

The donated equipment includes:

Cavitron – Ultrasonic dental scaler

Rotary Endogold – Root canal treatment device

Apex Locator – Precise measurement of root canals

Light Cure – Photopolymerization for dental fillings

Autoclave – Medical sterilization unit

The Dental Research Center in Alexandria is a leading facility
specializing in dental treatments and surgeries under general
anaesthesia, catering to a large number of underprivileged patients in
Alexandria and surrounding governorates This donation enhances the
center’s capabilities, ensuring that patients receive high-quality
dental care in a well-equipped medical environment.

Holy Month Iftar & Mother’s Day Celebration

In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan and its coincidence with
Mother’s Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Amman, led by Mrs. Fadia Yared
hosted an Iftar at Romero Restaurant on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The
event was attended by Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of District 95 (Egypt
& Jordan), Mrs. Lina Husseini, President of the Inner Wheel Club of
Petra, along with numerous club members and esteemed guests.

In her welcoming speech, Mrs. Fadia Yared expressed her delight at this
special gathering, which combines the noble values of Ramadan with the
profound meaning of motherhood, stating:
“Today, we unite in the spirit of gratitude, reflection, love, and
giving, offering our support, solidarity, and prayers to those facing
difficult circumstances. During this blessed month, the power of
motherhood shines as a source of inspiration to overcome challenges and
work together for a world of peace, understanding, and compassion.”

The celebration was truly exceptional in every detail, with elegant
decorations capturing the spirit of the holy month. The beautifully
arranged Iftar table featured a variety of delicious dishes, enhancing
the Ramadan experience. The musical performance by singer Ashraf Makawi
added a warm touch, enriching the family-friendly ambience of the
evening. The harmony and togetherness that prevailed throughout the
event perfectly aligned with this year’s Inner Wheel theme: “Heartbeat
of Humanity.”

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of Garden
City, led by Didi El-Sourani and member Manal Zakaria, visited 57357
Children’s Cancer Hospital on Monday, March 10.

During the visit, they shared iftar with 30 children and their families
and donated 14,300 EGP to support the meal. They spent time with the
children, offering comfort and encouragement, and wished them a swift
recovery.

The club also identified urgent cases requiring further support,
including a 17-year-old boy who, due to a pituitary gland disorder,
appears much younger than his actual age. Committed to sustainable
humanitarian efforts, the club pledged to continue assisting him and
others in need.

A Heartwarming Visit to Dar Al-Habayeb Elderly Home.

On Saturday, February 22nd, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by
Ms. Lina Shaker joined forces with the talented ACT Theatre Group to
bring joy and warmth to the residents of Dar Al-Habayeb Elderly Home in
Maadi.This collaboration aimed to create cherished memories through the
magic of theatre.

The ACT Theatre Group, a passionate ensemble of artists, is dedicated to
igniting creativity and fostering connections within the community. They
believe in the power of storytelling to spark conversations and inspire
audiences of all ages.

The event was a vibrant celebration of laughter and music, featuring two
captivating performances. The first was a hilarious comedy inspired by
the timeless tales of Juha, followed by a delightful musical show in the
garden that filled the air with melody and cheer.

The performances deeply moved the residents, bringing smiles to their
faces and warmth to their hearts. It was truly a day filled with joy,
laughter, and a beautiful reminder of the power of human connection.

Collaborative workshop on Sustainability and Heritage

“Collaborative workshop  on Sustainability and Heritage.

Under the theme”Heartbeat of Humanity,”on Monday, February 24, 2025
The IWC of Alexandria and Rotary Club of Alexandria, in cooperation with
the Italian Consulate and in the attendance of the Italian Consul in
Alexandria, the Alexandria National Museum, and the Friends of the
Bibliotheca Alexandrina Association, organized a workshop entitled
“Sustainability and Heritage” to preserve the environment for students
of the Italian School in Alexandria.

The most important objectives of this workshop were:

* Raising awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.

* ⁠Promoting positive environmental behaviors.

* ⁠Providing practical solutions to environmental problems.

* ⁠Encouraging community participation in protecting the environment.

The workshop also included lectures given by experts from the Ministry
of Environment in Alexandria and interactive workshops to learn
environmental conservation skills.

The students hung Promise to the Environment on the tree, which is the
lesson learned from the workshop.

They also toured the National Museum to learn about antiquities and
natural history.

Spreading Love and Kindness: A Heartwarming Visit to Dar Al-Hana for
Elderly Women.

Embracing the year’s theme, ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel
Club of Alexandria Cleopatra, led by President Soheir Fahmy and Honorary
Secretary Doaa Hamdy, visited Dar Al-Hana for Elderly Women as part of
the Year’s  objectives .

The Club was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Hanaa, the home’s director.
During the visit, the Club provided essential food supplies based on
their needs, purchased new clothing for each resident, and made a
financial contribution in celebration of the holy month.

Spending time with the elderly residents and seeing their joy and
gratitude was a truly rewarding experience, reaffirming the purpose of
the visit—to spread happiness, warmth, and compassion.

Under the  theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,”  Inner Wheel Club of Garden
City, led by Didi El Sourani and club founder Noura El Zoghbi, paid a
heartfelt visit to 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital on March 3, 2025.

The club was warmly received by Dr. Suzanne before visiting the hospital
room established in 2003 under the club’s name, a project initiated
and continuously supported by Noura El Zoghbi and club members. As part
of their ongoing sustainable initiatives, the club donated 50,000 EGP,
reaffirming their unwavering commitment to improving pediatric cancer
care and bringing hope to young patients.
