On Friday, April 4, 2025, under the inspiring theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo (e-Club), led by Ms. Lina Shaker, along with the valued participation of Ms. Nihal Al-Bakri, Ms. Rania Al-Kashef, and Ms. Manuela Al-Wakil, organized a heartwarming day for 110 children and young people from the Safwat Al-Hayat and Ersam Farha associations.
The group enjoyed a memorable trip to Gero Land Amusement Park, where the children experienced a day of pure joy, laughter, and invaluable psychological and social support — turning a long-held dream into a beautiful reality.
The club thoughtfully prepared a range of gifts tailored to various age groups, from 2 to 20 years old, and provided a delicious lunch for everyone to enjoy during their time at the park.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to all the generous donors and dedicated volunteers whose kindness and support made this event possible. Special thanks are owed to Ms. Sherine Arafa, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, for her instrumental role in securing reduced ticket prices, allowing a greater number of children to participate in this day of happiness and cherished memories.

The addition of fresh voices and diverse talents to the club was met with great enthusiasm and optimism for the future.
Mrs. Madanat’s lecture provided an in-depth overview of Alzheimer’s Disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder and the most common cause of dementia. The presentation covered risk factors, early signs, stages of progression, diagnosis, current treatment options, and preventive strategies. Emphasis was placed on lifestyle choices such as physical activity, social engagement, and nutrition as potential factors to reduce risk and slow disease progression.
Attendees actively participated in memory stimulation exercises designed to raise awareness of cognitive health. The atmosphere was bright and uplifting, with each table adorned with colorful napkins and floral centerpieces. Branded Inner Wheel notebooks and pens were distributed as keepsakes, reflecting the club’s commitment to both education and fellowship.
