Bridging Generations with Compassion and Joy

Under the  theme “ Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Cleopatra, led by President Soheir Fahmy and Honorary
Secretary Doaa Hamdy, organized a special outing on Wednesday, June
25th, at the Egyptian Yacht Club in Alexandria.

The event brought together two of this year’s key focus groups: the
ladies from Dar El-Hana Elderly Home and the orphaned children from
Safia Gomaa Home. The initiative aimed to foster connection and
interaction between the two generations, resulting in a joyful and
heartwarming atmosphere.

While the elderly ladies relaxed by the sea, the children enjoyed
recreational games at the club. The gathering concluded with a shared
lunch, offering a memorable experience for all.

Dr. Viola Ramsis, founder of the club, attended alongside fellow members
of the Cleopatra Club.

We sincerely hope our country will one day embrace the idea of uniting
elderly and orphan care under one roof, recognizing how deeply they need
each other’s presence, warmth, and companionship.
