Empowering 50 Girls with Supplies and Comfort: EGP 31,000 Invested in
Al-Damir Al-Hayy Girls’ House

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, under this year’s inspiring theme,
“Step Up & Lead by Example,” we embraced the spirit of solidarity
and compassion as we welcomed a new academic year full of promising
opportunities for growth and success.

The IWC of New Cairo , under the dedicated and compassionate leadership
of Ms. Rania Al-Kashef, generously provided all essential school
supplies—including notebooks, pens, flasks, and lunch boxes—for the
brave and resilient girls of Al-Damir Al-Hayy Girls’ House in El Haram,
investing EGP 10,000 to support and brighten their educational journey.

We sincerely hope that these courageous young girls enjoy a school year
filled with achievement, happiness, and lasting success.

In a further act of care, the club also purchased 50 sets of bed sheets
and pillows for the same home. This initiative aimed to enhance the
living conditions and nurture the overall environment, at a cost of EGP
21,000.

To reinforce the importance of supporting charitable organizations
sponsored by Inner Wheel clubs, the bed sets were purchased from the
Bright Tomorrow Association, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to
uplifting those in need while also promoting high-quality products made
by local charitable initiatives.

Under the theme: “Step Up and Lead by Example”

The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean , headed by Mrs. Heba
Abou El Nasr and Honorary Secretary Mrs. Hoda Arafa, visited the
Children’s Cancer Center in Borg El Arab.
During the visit, the club members distributed school bags to the young
patients, bringing smiles to their faces despite the pain and hardship
they endure at such a tender age.
They also toured the children’s wards and offered emotional and moral
support to the patients and their families — a heartfelt gesture that
reflects the club’s dedication to compassion and community service.

An Evening of Culture, Heritage, and Leadership

On Tuesday, September 23rd, under the inspiring theme “Step Up and
Lead by Example,” the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Mona
El-Saeed, and the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Rania
El-Kashef, jointly hosted the first seminar of the newly launched Book
Club, chaired by Mrs. Nehal El-Bakry.

The session featured distinguished guest Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf
El-Shazly, who gave a captivating and well-researched presentation on
the historical and religious significance of the Holy Land.

Through a visual and narrative journey, Dr. El-Shazly explored:

The geographical location of the Holy Land,

Its central role in the Abrahamic faiths as referenced in the Holy
Scriptures,

The nature and diversity of its inhabitants throughout the ages,

And the countless civilizations, conquests, wars, and conflicts it has
witnessed.

Despite the turbulence of history, the Holy Land has endured as a deeply
spiritual and religious center — a place of profound connection for
millions across time.

The event was attended and honored by prominent Inner Wheel figures:

knowledge, fellowship, and inspiration.

supported by the club’s dedicated members, organized a charitable
clothing exhibition at nominal prices.

The event was held at the nursing home in Ard El-Mawlid, a densely
populated area in Minya, and lasted for two days. It benefited not only
the residents and staff of the nursing home but also members of the
surrounding local community.

This initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to social
responsibility and community support, providing affordable clothing
while promoting compassion and solidarity.

To mark the beginning of the new academic year, the Inner Wheel Club of
Tanta proudly launched its first community project on Thursday,
September 25, 2025, with a heartfelt visit to Al-Marwa Orphanage for
Girls in Tanta.

Under the inspiring theme:
“Step Up & Lead by Example”,
the club donated school bags, clothing, and educational supplies valued
at 12,000 EGP, helping to equip the girls for a successful school year
ahead.

During the visit, the members extended their warm wishes, encouraging

The Chairman of Inner Wheel District 95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hanaa
El-Sadat, accompanied by Vice Chairman Mrs. Alia Olayan , Mrs. Hanan
Aghabi (President of the Inner Wheel Club of Philadelphia), and several
members from Egypt and Jordan, visited the Inner Wheel Club of
Philadelphia’s sustainable project at the Hiteen Camp Medical Center,
affiliated with Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Michel Al-Sayegh, Chairman of
the Association’s Board, Mrs. Nazi Al-Sayegh, an honorary member of
the club, along with a number of officials from the association.

During the visit, a short film highlighting the association’s
activities was presented, showcasing the positive impact of the
collaboration between MAP and the Inner Wheel Club of Philadelphia.

The delegation also toured the club’s sustainable project, which
includes two fully equipped, soundproof rooms dedicated to audiology and
speech therapy, featuring state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Giving Back with Purpose: A Step Towards Empowering Students

Under the theme “Step up and lead by example”

On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, the Vice President, Mrs. Saher
Gazarine, accompanied by the Treasurer, Mrs. Jailan Mokhtar, visited
Halab Primary and Preparatory School, under the Borg El Arab Educational
Administration in Alexandria.

The purpose of the visit was to distribute school bags filled with
essential supplies—such as pencil cases, pens, notebooks, and
colors—to 40 underprivileged students, helping them start the school
year with confidence and readiness.

This initiative was carried out in cooperation with Al-Orman
Association.

The visit was a great success. Mr. Mohamed Mahjoub, representative of
Al-Orman Association, along with school officials, expressed their
heartfelt appreciation for the initiative and its positive impact on the
students who received the school supplies.

Restoring Hope and Mobility: Two Lives Transformed with Prosthetic Limbs

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria El Nozha, under the leadership of President Omima El Gharby,
successfully provided two prosthetic limbs to support women in need. The
initiative aimed to enhance their quality of life and help them regain
independence. Details of the cases are as follows:

🔹 Case 1:
A 27-year-old woman, orphaned since early childhood, is married and a
mother to a young child. She suffered a severe accident that resulted in
an amputation at the hip joint. A custom-designed prosthetic limb was
carefully crafted and fitted to accommodate her condition, enabling her
to move forward with strength and dignity.

🔹 Case 2:
A woman from an economically disadvantaged background had undergone a
below-knee amputation. An appropriate prosthetic limb was prepared and
provided to aid her rehabilitation and restore her mobility.

Thanks to the grace of God and the dedication of the club members, both
prosthetic limbs were successfully delivered, bringing renewed hope and
improved mobility to these women.

On September 10th, Inner Wheel Club of El Shorouk proudly held its first
meeting of the 2025–2026 Inner Wheel year, under the presidency of
Mrs. Maha Bahgat, at Esperanto Café in Maryland.

The gathering radiated warmth, love, and sincere bonds of sisterhood.
The members warmly welcomed the new president, who presented her
thoughtful vision and action plan for the upcoming year.

The new Inner Wheel year kicked off with generous donations totaling EGP
79,800, divided across the following initiatives:

🟣 EGP 36,000 worth of essential food supplies (poultry, meat,
legumes, rice, etc.) to Bright Future Association for Special Needs

🟣 EGP 38,800 in the form of fish, shrimp, dates, and traditional
Mawlid sweets for El-Amal Orphanage, in celebration of El-Mawlid
El-Nabawi

🟣 EGP 5,000 donated to El-Marwa Nursing Home for the elderly

May this generous spirit of giving continue throughout the year,

Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” and in continued
support of the Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association for the Care of
Special Needs Groups, headed by Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem, Mrs. Mona
El-Saeed, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, accompanied by
Past President Mrs. Eman El-Gemei, paid a visit to the association on
Saturday, September 13th.

During the visit, they delivered 20 heavy-duty plastic chairs (tamb) and
8 tables of the same type, with a total value of EGP 24,600, for the
benefit of the students in the association’s boarding section.

This initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting
civil society institutions and promoting solidarity and care for
individuals with special needs.
