On Friday, February 28th, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting,
led by President Eng. Amani Sleem, organized the distribution of Ramadan
food boxes to 220 underprivileged families, including widows, orphans,
and patients. These boxes, filled with essential supplies, were
delivered to families in Abees, Al-Awayed, Abu Soliman, and
Al-Mahmoudia, helping them meet their basic needs during the holy month
of Ramadan.

Wishing everyone a blessed Ramadan! May this noble tradition continue,
bringing hope and support to those in need.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, led by
Mrs. Mona Gomaa donated 43,000 Egyptian pounds to Dar Ta’arof for the
Elderly and Dar Al-Sheikh Al-Tablawi to help provide daily meals for
orphans throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

In alignment with this year’s theme, “The Heartbeat of Humanity,” the
Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids, led by Mrs. Iman Selim carried out a
heartfelt charitable initiative on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 25th
and 26th. As part of its sustainable projects, the club distributed 136
‘Goodness Boxes’ to support various community members in preparation for
the holy month of Ramadan.

The distribution took place at Al-Mashabek Youth Center, benefiting
literacy class students and center employees. Additionally, some
employees at the Cairo Yacht Club and Al-Wahda School in Kardasa
received these essential aid boxes, ensuring assistance before the start
of Ramadan.

This initiative reflects the club’s ongoing dedication to uplifting
communities and fostering the spirit of generosity and compassion.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria East, led by Mrs. Magda Sallam and accompanied by several
esteemed members paid an official visit to the Alexandria Drinking Water
Company on Monday, February 10, 2025.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Eng. Ahmed Gaber, CEO of the
company. During the visit, a cooperation protocol was signed between
Alexandria Drinking Water Company, represented by Eng. Ahmed Gaber, and
Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East, represented by Mrs. Magda Sallam.

This agreement emphasizes a shared commitment to community engagement,
the provision of clean water connections for underprivileged families,
raising awareness about water conservation, and contributing to
sustainable community development through improved drinking water
services.

As part of this impactful initiative, the club generously donated
315,000 L.E. to facilitate the installation of 63 water connections for
the most vulnerable families in villages surrounding Alexandria.

We are proud to contribute to this noble cause, hoping that our efforts
will enhance the quality of life, health, and well-being of these
families, ensuring access to one of life’s most essential
resources—clean and safe water.

Charity Clothing Bazaar for Alexandria University Students

On Wednesday, February 13, the Inner Wheel Club of Sporting, led by
President Amani Sleem and Honorary Secretary Hala El Ghitany, along with
several club members, hosted the second charity clothing bazaar for
Alexandria University students.

More than 1,500 students attended the event, where they had the
opportunity to choose from a wide selection of bags, shoes, and
clothing—entirely free of charge.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” and as part of its commitment
to social solidarity and easing the hardships of the elderly, the Inner
Wheel Club of Garden City, led by Mrs. Didi El-Sorany, along with Club
Secretary Mrs. Alia Lasheen, Treasurer Mrs. Afaf Fawaz and Mrs. Wafaa
Younis visited Al-Marwa Elderly Care Home on Wednesday, February 12.

During the visit, essential food supplies were delivered in preparation
for the holy month of Ramadan, including:

10 trays of eggs

10 kg of sugar

10 kg of rice

10 kg of pasta

5 kg of fava beans

5 kg of freekeh

3 kg of yellow lentils

3 kg of brown lentils

3 kg of black-eyed peas

3 kg of white beans

24 litres of milk

Sports & its Impact on Human Health.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity” Inner Wheel Club of Amman
presided by Ms Fadia Yared, held a lecture at the Orthodox Club on
Tuesday 12 February 2025 conducted by Dr. Wala Al-Asoud – who holds a
Doctorate in Philosophy of Physical Education. The lecture entitled
“Sports using chair exercises and their impact on the health and
quality of life for Women”. Club members and esteemed guests attended
the lecture.

Attending the recent chair yoga was enlightening and enjoyable
experience for all who participated. The session led by an experienced
instructor introduced attendees to the benefits of chair yoga – an
accessible form of yoga that promoted flexibility, strength, and
relaxation while using a chair of support.
The atmosphere in the hall was warm and welcoming especially all eagerly
practiced the Chair Yoga. Many expressed appreciation for how the
exercises were easy to follow and yet made a noticeable difference in
their comfort and relaxation.
In recognitions of Dr Wala efforts, President of IWC of Amman presented
a certificate of appreciation for her valuable and enriching lecture in
the field of sports, which had a significant impact on enhancing
knowledge and inspiration. Another certificate of appreciation was
presented to Ms Sana Fatayirjy.
Overall, the lecture was both educational and uplifting. Attendees left
feeling refreshed, inspired, and excited to continue their chair
Exercise journey. Everyone enjoyed breakfast and departed with joy.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of
Humanity,” and as part of the club’s commitment to providing a
healthier and more sustainable environment for families in need, the
members of the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital, led by Prof. Dr.
Suzan Darwish and Honorary Secretary Dr. Ola Ewais handed over a
donation check of 80,000 EGP to the Alexandria Drinking Water Company.

This contribution will fund the installation of 16 water connections for
homes in Amiriya villages, aiming to improve the quality of life for
these families.
