Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” some members of the Inner Wheel
Club of Sharm El-Sheikh, led by Mrs. Nazek Faeq visited the Charitable
Association for Child Welfare. During the visit, they delivered in-kind
donations provided by the club based on the needs of the children’s
home, including clothing, shoes, and bed sheets. Additionally, the club
donated 50,000 EGP to help purchase goods for resale in the charity-run
shops, aiming to generate funds to cover the association’s daily
expenses.

The ladies of the club spent time with the children, engaging in various
activities that brought joy to everyone. They also pledged to continue
supporting the association, as it is one of their sustainable projects,
and are already planning another visit to the home soon.

“Beauty and Hope”: A Special Evening Celebrating Inclusion and Creativity

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Inner Wheel Club of Damanhour, in
collaboration with the Honorary Italian Consulate in Alexandria M.s
Mario De Parquale and the “Donetna” Association for the Blind, hosted an
inspiring evening titled “Beauty and Hope.” The event brought together
key figures and supporters, including Dr. Mervat El-Azouni, Vice
Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, and Dr. Amel El-Ghaitany,  D95
Webmaster , to celebrate the talents and resilience of the visually
impaired community.

Highlights of the Evening

Welcome Address by Italian Consul Mario De Pasquale

The consul warmly welcomed attendees and expressed his commitment to
supporting the visually impaired.

He emphasized the importance of accessibility in all areas of life,
advocating for inclusive initiatives.

Speech by Dr. Amel El-Ghitany

As a consultant in neurology and psychiatry, Dr. El-Ghitany discussed
the mental health needs of people with disabilities.

She focused on empowering them to achieve independence and integrate
fully into society.

Presentation by Mr s. Hanan Hashish

Chairperson of the “Donetna” Association for the Blind, Ms. Hashish
shared the association’s mission and impact.

She highlighted their training programs, which equip members with skills
to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Artistic Performance

The association’s music team delivered an emotional and uplifting
performance under the guidance of their trainer, Ms. Noha Alaa El-Din.

The evening concluded with a tour of an exhibition featuring exquisite
handmade products crafted by visually impaired artisans. Guests
expressed admiration for the precision and vibrant beauty of the pieces,
showcasing the remarkable creativity and talent of the contributors.

On Wednesday, January 5, 2025, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of Inner
Wheel Club of Mansoura, accompanied by several club members, visited the
Social Care Foundation for the Elderly in Nabroh, Dakahlia Governorate.
This facility is one of the homes that Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura has
been diligently supporting for several years by providing them with
their essential needs. The home currently cares for 30 men and 28 women.

Mrs. Shadia communicated directly with the director of the facility, and
the club supplied urgently needed food items, cleaning supplies, and
medications. Additionally, we distributed gifts and sweets to the
residents, which filled their hearts with joy and happiness. We also
conducted a tour of the home with a promise to follow up regularly, God
willing.

The residents were overjoyed by the visit, and the experience added to
their feelings of satisfaction and gratitude. We, too, felt the profound
impact of our visit. We left recharged with positive energy, inspiring
us to continue our journey of goodness and giving.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign

 Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, and in line with
January—Cervical Cancer Awareness Month—the Inner Wheel Club of
Cairo, led by Mrs. Boosy Hassanien and attended by esteemed members
organized an impactful awareness campaign in collaboration with the
Departments of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Oncology at Kasr Al-Ainy.

The campaign was held on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 11:00 AM in the
Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Kasr Al-Ainy, under the esteemed
patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Hossam Salah, and
Professor Ahmed Abdel Mageed, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology
Department.

The event emphasized the importance of embedding cervical cancer
awareness as a core component of internship training for medical
graduates. Notably, the Inner Wheel Club of Cairo had previously
collaborated with the Presidential Initiative to advocate for the
inclusion of this awareness in school curricula, aiming to foster health
education among younger generations.

This initiative reflects a strong commitment to the vital role of civil
society in promoting awareness, encouraging early detection, and
building a healthier society capable of addressing both health and
societal challenges.

Supporting the Deaf and Mute Community

District 95 Egypt and Jordan: Supporting the Deaf and Mute Community

On Sunday, January 5, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the
Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, led by Mrs. Amal Galal Ezzat, along with Mrs.
Ghada Rahmy, the District 95 Editor, and several club members organized
a meaningful visit to the School’s for the Deaf and Mute in Tanta.

The visit aimed to support the school by providing a variety of raw
materials to meet the needs of its diverse departments, which include
carpentry, knitting, tailoring, decoration, and art. The provided
supplies included:

Wooden boards and glue for carpentry.

Knitting threads of various thicknesses.

Dublon and Damour fabrics for tailoring.

Matte oils.

Drawing notebooks and gouache paints for art activities.

The Inner Wheel Club of Tanta pledged to continue providing these
supplies periodically to support the educational process and contribute
to enhancing the school’s overall performance.

On Sunday, January 5, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the
Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, led by Mrs. Amal Galal Ezzat and accompanied
by several club members organized a visit to the School for the Blind in Tanta.

During the visit, the club delivered a quantity of Braille-specific
paper to meet the school’s needs and support its use throughout the
academic year. This initiative comes as part of the club’s commitment
to enhancing the educational experience for visually impaired students
and facilitating their learning process.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”  Inner Wheel Club of Cairo, led
by Mrs. Boosy Hassanien and joined by several members, purchased three
chemotherapy infusion pumps for children for 57357 Children’s Cancer
Hospital at a total cost of 120,000 EGP.

These modern devices are equipped with computerized systems that ensure
precise dosage delivery, minimizing the risk of human error in
administering chemotherapy treatments.

This initiative reflects the club’s strong belief in the vital role of
civil society in contributing to the treatment of those in need. May God
grant our precious children a full and speedy recovery.

Support the Faculty of Agriculture

Support the Faculty of Agriculture

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, led by Mrs. Amal Galal Ezzat, along with Mrs.
Ghada Rahmy, the District 95 editor, and several club members visited
the Faculty of Agriculture in Tanta.

During the visit, the club presented a number of Qurans as a gift to the
faculty mosque and also donated a pesticide spraying machine for crops,
generously contributed by one of the club members.

In accordance with the protocol signed between the Cancer Patients
Association and  Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting, on Wednesday,
January 22, the President of the Club, Mrs. Amani Selim, the Honorary
Secretary, Mrs. Hala El-Ghitani, and the Treasurer, Mrs. Ghada Fadel
handed over a cheque for 175,000 EGP to the Cancer Patients Association
to purchase chemotherapy and targeted treatments for patients who are
unable to afford them.

The presentation was attended by the Head of the Oncology Department at
El-Mehry Hospital, the President of the Cancer Patients Association, and
a number of specialized doctors.

Supports Gaza under the Theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”

On January 23, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner
Wheel Club of Alexandria Cleopatra, led by Mrs. Soheir Fahmy and
Honorary Secretary Duaa Hamdy donated 65 blankets to the Egyptian Red
Crescent in Alexandria for the benefit of our people in Gaza, Palestine

The donation was received by Mrs. Nahla Mohamed Yousef, the General
Manager of the Egyptian Red Crescent, who expressed her gratitude to the
club. An agreement was made to provide the Red Crescent with essential
supplies such as canned food and juices in the near future.

May God grant victory to Palestine and its people.
