IW Of New Cairo Club – Cleaning and Beauty Authority in the West Nasr City visit

IW Of New Cairo Club.
On March 4, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal
ElBakry, and the IWC of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Sherine Arafa,
inaugurated the Holy month of Ramadan with the inspiring theme “Shine a
Light.” One of the key initiatives undertaken during their celebratory
activities, was the visit to the headquarters of the Cleaning and Beauty
Authority in the West Nasr City neighborhood, generously donating
fifty-two thousand pounds. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and
admiration to the dedicated cleaning workers we encounter daily,
acknowledging their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in
maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of our community.

IW Of Minya Club – School for the Deaf and Dumb in Minya visit

IW Of Minya Club.
On Thursday, February 29, the Innerwheel Minya Club, led by Mrs. Hoda
Fathi and operating under the theme “Shine A Light,” visited the School
for the Deaf and Dumb in Minya in the presence of club members. The club
presented 21 educational banners with pictures and sign language to aid
in communication for students across various school levels.
Additionally, clothes were provided to students who were in need. The
total cost of this initiative amounted to 6,000 pounds, benefiting 160
male and female students. The club also spent recreational time with the
students and pledged ongoing cooperation and communication in the
future.

On February 28, the Minya IW Club, led by Mrs. Hoda Fathi, and operating under the motto “Shine a Light,” generously covered the cost of three pure water meters for three families in the Minya countryside ahead of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

IW Of Gezeira Sporting Club.

Under the slogan “Shine the

Light” and to deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation among IW Gezeira Sporting Club members at under the presidency of Mrs Azza El Mofty, the annual clothing exhibition was opened at Benha University on February 19, 2024. We were honored by your presence, including:

– Dr. Majed El-Gizawi, the University President

– Dr. Tamer Sameer, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs

– Dr. Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Affairs

– Dr. Sayed Abdelwanes, General Supervisor of University Cities

– Eman Abdel Latif, Director of University Personnel Administration

The exhibition continued on February 20 and 21, featuring high-quality, well-presented, and diverse collections of new and used men’s and women’s clothing in decent condition. There was a significant interest in purchasing due to reasonable and suitable prices. The proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the college’s student fund to assist financially challenged students and sustainable club projects.

The university president and faculty members expressed their gratitude to our club for the efforts exerted by the members and the club president in sorting, organizing, and presenting the items. Thus, our club has effectively contributed to realizing this year’s international slogan.

IW Of Mansoura &Tanta Club’s – annual celebration

IW Of Mansoura &Tanta Club’s.

On Tuesday, March 5, Mansoura IW Club, led by Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, and the Tanta Club, led by Mrs. Amal Ezzat, hosted their annual celebration at the Grand Babylon Hall in Tanta. The event was graced by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, district 95 chairman & esteemed Executive board members, former district presidents,

national delegates, club presidents, and Innerwheel club members.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by a warm welcome from the president of Tanta Club.

Both clubs shared their accomplished projects and upcoming initiatives for the year. The District chairman commended their efforts and emphasized the importance of inter-club collaboration. A joint financial contribution was made by the two clubs towards a district-wide project at Bahia Hospital in Sheikh Zayed, with Innerwheel Mansoura donating 50,000 pounds. Tokens of appreciation were exchanged, photos captured, and warm wishes exchanged for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. The gathering was filled with camaraderie, joy, and unity, fostering an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, with hopes for continued success among all clubs. Wishing everyone a Happy Year.

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, to commemorate the sacred month of Ramadan, Mrs. Shahira Maher and members of the IWC of Alexandria visited the Intellectual Rehabilitation Institute for girls. They distributed Ramadan coupons to all staff and families of the students, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and love.

Mrs. Mona Gimaie, the president of the Inner Wheel Giza Club, visited Al-Agouza Secondary School for Girls on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

As part of charity card distribution and Ramadan crate distribution, twenty charity cards valued at 350 Egyptian pounds each and eight Ramadan balls were provided. The school honored Mrs. Mona Gimaie with a certificate of appreciation for her involvement in the charitable initiatives benefiting the students.

IW Of Giza Pyramids Club – Mashabek Youth Center in Haram visit – sustainable projects

As Ramadan draws near and the season of blessings approaches, Mrs. Azza Dawidar (Honorary Secretary) and Mrs. Eman Selim, representing the Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids under the guidance of the club’s president, Mrs. Nadia Mansour, distributed 171 boxes of essential food items to illiterate students at the Mashabek Youth Center in Haram, alongside the center’s workers and needy families. Moreover, boxes were provided to Khalid ibn al-Walid School in Kerdasa for students and staff in need. The club also extended support to the Qatre al-Nada Orphanage, which it sponsors. Additionally, donations were given to workers at the Yacht Club in Cairo, a regular meeting place for the club. This initiative is a part of the club’s ongoing sustainable projects over the years.

On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr. Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia El-Derini, along with Treasurer Soheir El-Fouly, and club members PP. Nelly Mounir and Dr. Nahed El-Wakil, donated cards to charity valued at 300 EGP each, totaling 20,000 EGP. The donation was made in honor of the holy month of Ramadan and distributed to the Nour Al Hayat Oasis Association for children with cerebral palsy and the Alexandria Association for the Care of the Blind. This initiative represents one of the club’s ongoing charitable projects. Gratitude to all club members for their contributions to these endeavors.
