IWC of Amman An Initiative for Environment & Cerebral Palsy awareness

District 95 Egypt and Jordan
IWC of Amman
An Initiative for Environment & Cerebral Palsy awareness :

In line with the Inner Wheel International theme “Heartbeat of
Humanity” Inner Wheel club of Amman presided by Ms Fadia Yared and
accompanied with Mrs Vivian Moridian donated to “Haya Centre” which
replaced Green Wheelz initiative a substantial quantity of plastic caps
on 23 October 2024. Bottle caps are recycled in support of cerebral
palsy, the Centre collects plastic bottle caps to raise funds as well as
awareness for cerebral palsy causes; in addition to cleaning the
environment.

It is worthwhile mentioning that the environmental impact of plastic
caps is substantial. When not properly disposed of, they often end up in
our oceans, rivers, and other natural habitats. Marine animals,
mistaking them for food, can suffer from ingestion, leading to injury or
even death, in addition to water contamination when it decomposes.

The Committee of IWC of Amman extends its thanks and gratitude for the
members’ team spirit and constant cooperation in supporting this vital
sustainable project for the last six years. “Heartbeat of Humanity”
Every beat counts, every action matters

The wheel of Inner Wheel turns and flourishes with initiatives,
projects, and donations from the club members and friends to leave an
imprint of goodness and hope for our society.
