IW Of Alexandria East Club – Baheya Foundation donation

On April 8, 2024, the IWC of Alexandria East, led by Dr. Mona Gamal,
contributed 40,000 EGP to the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and
Treatment of Breast Cancer. This donation was made to support the
equipping of the PCR room, in collaboration with other IW clubs from
District 95 in Egypt & Jordan.

IWC of New Egypt/Heliopolis – inauguration of three women’s literacy chapters in Mansouria and Ezbet Abdel Samad

In March 2024 & under this year’s “Illuminate” theme saw the
inauguration of three women’s literacy chapters in Mansouria and Ezbet
Abdel Samad. A collaboration between Inner Wheel clubs of New Egypt led
by Mrs. Salwa Salim, Mrs. Azza El Mofty, and Mrs. Maha Sorour. provided
educational resources like books, school bags & stationary. They
celebrated events with students. Also a plan to hold final exams in June
for successful students to enroll in first-year preparatory classes for
next year. Best wishes for success to the students and good luck to the
IW clubs in their charitable efforts.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – Association of Friends of the Holy Book for Orphan Care donation – sustainable initiatives

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by
President Dr. Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia Aldreeni,
along with the presence of Dr. Viola Ramsis, Vice President of D95
visited the Association of Friends of the Holy Book for Orphan Care. The
club generously donated 15,000 Egyptian pounds. Members inspected the
association’s activities, engaged with the children, providing gifts,
sweets, and holiday clothing.

IW Of Nasr City Club – Bahiya Hospital donation

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by
Ms. Sherine Arafa, visited Bahiya Hospital. They were joined by Ms. Mona
Abu Al-Futouh,chairman of D/95 and the esteemed board to present
donation cheques from District 95 Inner Wheel Clubs. This contribution
aims to finalize the construction of the X-ray and PCR rooms, in which
various Inner Wheel clubs took part. Notably, the Inner Wheel Club of
Nasr City was the first to respond and contribute 30000 LE to Bahiya
Hospital following Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh’s call.

IW Of Mansoura Club – Bahiya Hospital donation

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of Mansoura
IWC was joined by Mrs. Nana Tarshoubi, the club’s R.S. and former
district bulletin editor, as well as Mrs. Nagwa Kandil, R.S., during the
visit of Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh,District 95 chairman, to Bahiya
Hospital in Sheikh Zayed. They presented donation checks from the
Innerwheel clubs towards this significant establishment. The collective
contributions of the Innerwheel clubs reached around 5 million Egyptian
pounds to procure equipment for the PCR chamber, which was initially
established through Innerwheel clubs’ donations two years ago.
Innerwheel Mansoura took the lead by contributing 50,000 pounds to this
cause. Here’s to more charitable initiatives and generosity under the
Innerwheel’s auspices.

IW Of Cairo West Club – Bahiya Hospital donation

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, abiding with our yearly objective and the IW
international theme “Shine a Light,” the Innerwheel Club of Cairo West,
under the leadership of President Ms. Samia Wahby, visited “Baheya
Hospital,” specializing in breast cancer treatment at its new location
in Sheikh Zayed. Accompanied by our dedicated club representatives,
including Vice President Ms. Olvia Reda and club treasurer Dr. Zainab
Al-Ghazali, alongside members from Innerwheel Clubs of District 95 and
in the presence of Mrs. Mona Aboul Fetouh, District Chairman, we
extended our support by contributing towards equipping the PCR room at
the hospital.
Our club made a generous donation of 50,000 LE (Fifty thousand pounds)
towards this cause. We are committed to engaging in projects led by the
esteemed District 95 devoted officers for the betterment of our
community.

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club – health center of Gaza camp in Jerash visit

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club.
“Continuity of support for previous projects is one of the most
important aspect we shine a light on this year.”
Today, Wednesday 17 / 4 the committee members of Philadelphia Inner
Wheel Club, headed by Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, visited the health center of
Gaza camp in Jerash to evaluate the preparation of the isolated room for
audiograms for children and the elderly as a completion to the nose and
throat clinic.
The committee members visited the former health center, which the club
established last year, headed by our past president Mrs. Doha Bushnaq ,
where they reviewed the progress of work and met the children who
benefited from the physical therapy.

Our journey to provide the rest of the devices to the hearing clinic
continues .

IW Of New Cairo Club – Bahia Hospital donation

The Innerwheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal El Bakry, on
Tuesday, 16/4/2024, participated in procuring devices for a PCR room and
an X-ray room at Bahia Hospital, which offers free treatment for breast
cancer patients. This initiative was undertaken with the annual theme,
“Shine a Light,” and was sponsored by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, the
District 95 Chairman of Egypt and Jordan. The IWC of New Cairo
contributed 40,000 pounds towards this cause, while the total proceeds
from the clubs’ donations amounted to approximately five million pounds.

The purchase of these devices is expected to significantly impact
patients’ treatment and contribute to their overall well-being.
Hopefully, this endeavor will bring happiness to families by improving
healthcare outcomes and providing much-needed support. The Innerwheel
Club’s contribution is a testament to its commitment to social
responsibility and its dedication to making a positive difference in the
lives of those in need.

IW Of Petra Club – Ramadan suhoor event

In celebration of Ramadan and in honor of the centenary of the
International Inner Wheel, IWC of Petra under the leadership of Mrs.
Dina Kababji Alawneh, hosted a Ramadan suhoor event at the Olea
restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel. We were privileged to have Mrs.
Jumana El Masri, International Inner Wheel Board Director, Mrs. Nahla
Qubain Suweiss, the National Representative in D95 Egypt and Jordan,
Mrs. Alia Aliyan, the webmaster in D95, and Mrs. Nuha Asfour, the
president of the IWC of Amman. Mrs. Alawneh, the club president,
commenced the evening with a speech honoring the Inner Wheel’s
centennial, expressing gratitude to the attendees, club presidents, and
members for their dedication, and extending blessings for the holy
month, praying for relief for the people in Gaza.
Mrs. El Masri and Mrs. Qubain Suweiss recognized the club’s founders,
Mrs. Alia Abu al-Ragheb and Mrs. Ghania Al-Tayeh, followed by
acknowledging the 17 presidents who served since its inception. Mrs.
Nuha Asfour, president of IWC of Amman received an appreciation gift for
receiving the IIW Margaret Golding Award. The event concluded with a
“Questions and Answers” session hosted by past club president Mrs. Mona
Hamza Abu al-Ragheb, where attendees enjoyed prizes amidst the Ramadan
ambiance. The evening ended with suhoor and hopeful wishes for continued
success to the club
