IW Of Tanta Club – Cardiology Department at Tanta Faculty of Medicine visit

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, under the theme “Shed A Light,” Tanta IW Club led by Mrs. Amal Jalal Ezzat, along with Mrs. Ghada Rahmi, a member of D 95/ board, Mrs. Heba Hammad, the club’s secretary, Mrs. Omaima Nassar, treasurer, and other club members, visited the Cardiology Department at Tanta Faculty of Medicine. They donated 23 guide wires essential for performing therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures, particularly for patients with acute coronary artery thrombosis. This donation, valued at 66,000 pounds, supports high-risk cases and is crucial for saving these patients. Warm wishes for the club’s ongoing success.

IW Of Giza Pyramids Club.

Following this year’s theme, “Shine a Light,” Mrs. Nadia Mansour and the Inner Wheel club of Giza Pyramids arranged a trip to El Gouna Resort in the Red Sea from February 8th to 12th. The aim was to highlight Egypt’s tourism spots. Participants from different Inner Wheel clubs came together to enjoy the beautiful weather, stunning views, and the turquoise waters of the Red Sea, fostering closer friendships among club members, which are integral to the Inner Wheel’s ethics.

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, Ms. Mona Gemei, the president of the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, arranged a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. During the trip, Mrs. Khadija Lutfi provided a detailed and captivating tour of the museum’s lobby and the impressive staircase showcasing numerous distinctive artifacts. Additionally, we explored the interactive exhibition on Tutankhamun, embarking on a fascinating visual and auditory exploration of Egypt’s rich history, all while fostering a warm and familiar atmosphere among the Club’s members.

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, Innerwheel Port Said Club, led by President Mrs. Maha Al-Mogy and Vice-President Mrs. Shahinaz Al-Khamisy, along with Dr. Maha Emam, the secretary & Mrs. Reem Wissam, the organizer visited the Women’s Association for the Improvement of Health and Care of Orphans.

They provided the children a full lunch along with bags of children’s favorite sweets for each of the 45 children of various ages and the supervisors at the association.

The club organized entertainment and singing sessions, witnessing the immense joy and happiness of the children during the visit. They prayed for the children’s ongoing happiness and success in life

Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW)Cairo branch inaugurated today a literacy class for women at Al Asmarat district in collaboration with the Innerwheel Al Nil Club in accordance with the protocol signed with the (NCW) and the Public Authority for Adult Education, following the state initiative to eradicate illiteracy and emphasize the importance of women role for achieving this objective.

The event was held under the sponsorship of Dr Maya Morsy head of Egypt’s National Council for Women(NCW) Cairo branch & the supervision & planning of Maha Marwan from the(NCW) Cairo branch in the presence of Dr Zenab Algazaly and Mrs Rokaya Shalaby (NCW)Cairo branch, in the presence of the members of Innerwheel Magda Mokhtar and Nabila gallal headed by Maha Serour, as coordinators and under the sponsorship and presence of Ahmed Ibrahim head of Al Asmarat district and the presence of Iman Almoyery and Abeer Algazy member of(NCW)Cairo branch.

A meeting was held with the women joining the literacy classes and all concerned to finalize and agree on the method of teaching and time schedule needed to complete the course, as well as the schedule during the holy month of Ramadan . It was agreed that the classes will be held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays during the literacy course .Stationary and copy books were distributed to start the education process. The Innerwheel members expressed their happiness and appreciation for the(NCW)enthusiasm and interest in the project and enabling women economically ,socially and culturally.

IW Of Cairo West Club – Manshayet Radwan School – Al-Qanater Social Facility Administration visit

On Thursday, February 15th, the President of IWC of Cairo West Ms. Samia Wahby, and the club’s Treasurer, Dr. Zeinab Al-Ghazali, who is a former district President, visited Manshayet Radwan School – Al-Qanater Social Facility Administration. They were accompanied by the Director of Education, Mr. Mahmoud Salam, and Mr. Khaled Saad Saeed, the school’s director. The school, which is supported by the club over the years, was inspected by them. They toured the school departments and classes, greeted the staff, thanked them for their hard work, and interacted with the students. The school honored the club president with a certificate of appreciation. The club regularly visits the school to assess its needs and provides support accordingly.

On February 17, 2024, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, along with several female members, joined a visit to the “Friends of Bright Tomorrow” Association for people with special needs.

The visit was part of a delegation led by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, D95/ chairman along with board members, regional heads, former national delegates, and Inner Wheel club members.

The event was organized by the Inner Wheel Clubs of Nasr City and New Cairo, under the leadership of Ms. Sherine Arafa and Nihal El-Bakry.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Shahnaz Hashem, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors and a member of Inner Wheel Nasr City, and Mrs. Siham El Gohary, the founder Nasr City IW Club.

During the visit, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry presented a donation check of 10,000 pounds on behalf of the Mansoura Club to the association.

Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh inaugurated the workshops, including the paper recycling workshop, Al-Fursan’s Garden, the carpentry workshop, the thermal printing workshop, and the tree planting project, in the presence of all Inner Wheel members. Attendees also explored the association’s products exhibition, purchasing items noted for their quality, beauty, and craftsmanship. As a special gesture, Mrs. Shahnaz Hashem presented souvenirs to all members crafted by the association’s workshop.

The day was filled with beautiful, purposeful activities, providing a positive and energizing experience for all participants, fostering a spirit of goodwill and generosity.

IW Of Nasr City Club – ‘Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association visit

On Monday, February 17, 2024, a prominent delegation led by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, D95 chairman, Mrs. Omnia Hanna, Honorary Secretary Mrs. Nora Fayk, Past District chairman, Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, Editor, and other esteemed guests visited the ‘Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association, to inaugurate the association’s various club projects. The event was organized by the IWC of Nasr City, under the leadership of Mrs. Sherine Arafa, and the IWC of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal ElBakry, to celebrate the success of these projects and reaffirm District 95’s and its clubs’ commitment to sustainable development.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Shahnaz, the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and the esteemed Mrs. Siham El Gohary, the founder of IWC of Nasr City. Past NR Mrs. Afaf Maged, Past IIW Board Directors Mrs. Ashnadelle Hilmy, Past chairman Mrs. Zinab El Ghazaly and Mrs. Awatef El Nasharty, as well as the Presidents of IW Clubs involved in the renovations of the Paper Recycling Workshop, alongside members from IW clubs.

Mrs. Mona Aboul Fotouh inaugurated the workshops.

The inauguration highlighted several impactful projects:

  1. The Paper Recycling Workshop, upgraded by 12 IWCs after a generous donation from the Nasr City Club, to promote sustainable practices.
  2. The Al-Fursan Garden, a significant contribution from the New Cairo Club, serving as an agricultural training facility for students at Dormies in the association, aiming to impart practical knowledge in agriculture and sustainability practices.
  3. The Carpenter Workshop, established through a generous contribution from the Nasr City Club, providing a platform for carpentry and woodworking projects, offering valuable skills training and creative opportunities for the local community.
  4. The Thermal Printing Workshop, donated by the New Cairo Club, enabling young people to develop computer skills and learn modern printing programs, facilitating printing on various items such as gift boxes, plastic bags, cups, T-shirts, backpacks, and handbags, as well as banners for goods, plastic products, textiles, fabric, bags, and school accessories.
  5. The “Plant a Tree” Project, a joint initiative between the IWCs of Nasr City and New Cairo, successfully planting ten fruit trees to promote environmental sustainability, showcasing the positive impact of community engagement in achieving common goals and enhancing surrounding communities.

The day was filled with joy and appreciation among the members of the participating clubs, and Mrs. Shahinaz presented gracious souvenirs to all attendees from the association’s workshop production
