IW Of Zamalek Club – Cultural event lecture

IW Of Zamalek Club.
Under the theme “Shedding Light on Cultural Events,” on Tuesday,
February 27, at El Pacha Boat, Sanaa El Malawani, the President of
Zamalek Innerwheel Club, hosted a cultural event in the presence of D95
chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Alfutuh.
The guest speaker was Dr. Islam El Beheiry, a renowned thinker and
researcher. The lecture focused on the importance of updating the
understanding of the Quran and the Prophet’s teachings to align with the
developments in Muslim societies. Dr. El Beheiry also touched upon the
ongoing Israeli/Hamas conflict in the region and addressed various
questions from the attendees, including Innerwheel Presidents and Club
members such as Magda Azzam, Mona Guemeii, and Fatma Barrada, among
others. Eminent members like Samia Abou El Fotouh, Affaf Maged, Nadia El
Mikati, Mayan Raslan, Hasnaa Riad, Bahia El Meaadawi, Hoda Malash, and
Randa El Matbouly were also present at the event

IW Of Mansoura Club – “Friends of Bright Tomorrow” Association for people with special needs visit

IW Of Mansoura Club.
On February 17, 2024, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of Inner Wheel
Club of Mansoura, along with members, visited the “Friends of Bright
Tomorrow” Association for people with special needs.
Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, chairman of D 95, accompanied the group with
some members of the board.
The visit was organized by Inner Wheel Clubs of Nasr City and New Cairo,
headed by Ms. Sherine Arafa and Nihal El-Bakry.

The delegation was received by Mrs. Shahnaz Hashem, Chairman of the
Association’s Board of Directors.

Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of InnerWheel Mansoura, presented a
donation check to the association for the amount of 10,000 pounds in the
name of the Mansoura Club.
Mrs. Mona Abu Alfutuh opened the various workshops accompaned by IW
members. The touring included the recycling workshop,
Al-Fursan’s Garden, the carpentry workshop, the thermal printing
workshop, and the tree planting project.

The attendees also visited the association’s products exhibition and
purchased products that were distinguished by their quality, beauty, and
workmanship.

 Mrs. Shahnaz Hashem presented
a souvenir to all members produced by the association’s workshop.
It was a day filled with positivity and inspiration for all attendees.

IW Of Sphinx Club – charity clothing Bazar for this year at the Faculty of Music Education in Zamalek

IW Of Sphinx Club.
On Sunday , 3 march 2024
Sphinx IW Club headed by Mrs. Soha Salem , held the second charity
clothing Bazar for this year.
The bazar was held at the Faculty of Music Education in Zamalek. The
proceeds were for the benefit of students who are unable to pay school
fees.
The donation amount is 15,600 Egyptian pounds.
Thanks to all those who contributed in the success of the Bazar.

IW Of Nasr City Club – Cleaning and Beauty Authority in West Nasr City visit

IW Of Nasr City Club.
On Monday, March 4, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs.
Sherine Arafa, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo,
headed by Mrs. Nihal ElBakry, along with some members, visited the
Cleaning and Beauty Authority in West Nasr City. They distributed
fifty-two thousand pounds in cash and meals to the workers in honor of
Ramadan. Additionally, the Friends of a Bright Tomorrow Association, led
by Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem, contributed by donating clothes to the workers.
This visit to the Authority’s headquarters is part of the club’s ongoing
projects, showing appreciation for the workers who diligently beautify
Egypt every day.

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital,
led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul and Secretary Dr. Ola Hamed Ewais,
organized a seminar titled “Egypt and the Economic Crisis” in
collaboration with the Rotary Club of Alexandria Capital, under the
leadership of Mrs. May Khadragy.
This event was conducted in partnership with various Inner Wheel and
Rotary clubs in Alexandria.

The seminar was hosted by Professor Dr. Sayed Elseify, Dean and Finance
Professor at the Faculty of Business, Alexandria University, and
featured distinguished journalist Mr. Ahmed Salem. Notable attendees
included Rotary District Governor Ayman Nazih, along with several past
district governors and leaders from Inner Wheel District 95 and Rotary
District 2451, as well as presidents of participating clubs.

The session commenced with a moment of silence to honor the late
Governor Mounir Thabet, followed by the screening of a documentary
showcasing his legacy. Professor Dr. Sayed Elseify presented a
documentary highlighting Egypt’s current economic status, projecting
future trends until 2030, envisioning Egypt rising to the seventh spot
globally in terms of economic strength.

Journalist Mr. Ahmed Salem discussed the evolving economic landscape in
Egypt, emphasizing the government’s role in incentivizing investors and
streamlining procedures for local and collaborative investments. Rotary
Governor Ayman Nazih stressed the importance of bolstering social
initiatives during this critical period to aid and serve the community

IW Of Giza Club.
On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, following the theme “Shine a Light,” Mrs.
Mona Gimaie, the president of the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, distributed
charity cards for Ramadan to 30 families, amounting to 21,000 Egyptian
pounds, during her visits to Khadija Elementary School and Engineers
Preparatory School for Boys. The initiative will extend to additional
school visits to offer more assistance through these charity cards.

IW Of Giza Club – successful coronary artery bypass surgery for 17-month-old – sustainable projects

IW Of Giza Club.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, as part of the ongoing sustainable projects
of the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, guided by Mrs. Mona Gimaie, Dr. Amal
El-Sisi conducted a successful coronary artery bypass surgery for
17-month-old Leila Ahmed Gharib.
The procedure, which cost 42,000 Egyptian pounds, was carried out in the
presence of Mrs. Noha Moussa. We extend our best wishes for Leila’s
continued health and recovery.

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club – “Nile of Hope Hospital” visit

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club .

On Wednesday, March 6, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr. Eman
Shafshak along with honorary secxretary Shadia El-Derini, treasurer
Soheir El-Fouly, and club member Dr. Nahed El-Wakil, visited the “Nile
of Hope Hospital”.
They were received by Dr. Muhammad Abdel Malek the hospital director &
paediatric surgery consultant Dr. Mustafa Rashed. The hospital provides
free surgeries for children and treatments for birth defects to the
people of Alexandria and neighboring areas free of charge.
The club donated medical equipment worth a total of 63 thousand pounds,
including a solution syringe device and a brain bag valve device. The
hospital, relying solely on charitable donations, boasts modern
equipment and top-notch facilities. It offers outpatient clinics,
operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology services, labs,
sterilization rooms, laundry services, and comfortable
accommodation—all at no cost, making it a commendable medical
institution.

On March 4, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal
ElBakry, and the IWC of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Sherine Arafa,
inaugurated the Holy month of Ramadan with the inspiring theme “Shine a
Light.” One of the key initiatives undertaken during their celebratory
activities, was the visit to the headquarters of the Cleaning and Beauty
Authority in the West Nasr City neighborhood, generously donating
fifty-two thousand pounds. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and
admiration to the dedicated cleaning workers we encounter daily,
acknowledging their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in
maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of our community.

IW Of Minya Club – School for the Deaf and Dumb in Minya visit

IW Of Minya Club.
On Thursday, February 29, the Innerwheel Minya Club, led by Mrs. Hoda
Fathi and operating under the theme “Shine A Light,” visited the School
for the Deaf and Dumb in Minya in the presence of club members. The club
presented 21 educational banners with pictures and sign language to aid
in communication for students across various school levels.
Additionally, clothes were provided to students who were in need. The
total cost of this initiative amounted to 6,000 pounds, benefiting 160
male and female students. The club also spent recreational time with the
students and pledged ongoing cooperation and communication in the
future.
