IW Of Garden City Visual Arts exhibition of female artists sponsorship

IW Of Garden City .

The exhibition of the female artists, “visual arts,”organized by the artist Iman Afeefi at the Arts Hub of the Opera House, was opened by Dr. Safiya Qabbani, head of the Syndicate of Visual Artists, and Dr. Walid Naqoush, head of the Visual Arts Sector, on behalf of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani. The event was sponsored by Inner Wheel Garden City, under the presidency of Didi Al-Souarani.

The

exhibition of plastic art was for a group of female plastic artists from the Inner Wheel and Rotaract clubs.

Many members of society, media personalities, and satellite channels attended to share in the creative works of the female artist.

IW Of New Cairo Club – Fourth Club Meeting

Book Club.

On Saturday, January 20th, 2024, Mrs. Nihal Elbakry, head of the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, and Mrs. Sherine Arafa, head of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, co-organized the fourth ‘Book Club’ meeting for the Inner Wheel year 2023-2024. The event, held under the theme “Shine a Light,” featured a discussion centered on the book “Fabrica” by Ahmed Al-Malwani. “Fabrica” is a fantasy novel that intricately weaves together myths and legends of the countryside with science fiction techniques. During the meeting, a special gift—a booklet expressing gratitude to the author and showcasing his works—was presented. This booklet was created by youths with special needs at the Friends of a Brighter Tomorrow. Association’s thermal printing workshop. The gathering proved to be both informative and enjoyable for all attendees.

IW Of Giza Club – sustainable projects – heart surgery in Abu Al Rish Children Hospital for a 2 months baby

IW Of Giza Club.

In continuation of their sustainable projects, Giza IW Club donated money & saved the life of a two months old girl.

Dr. Amal El Sisi preformed a successful heart surgery in Abu Al Rish Children Hospital for the little girl, Farida Mahmoud Selim, with a total cost of 30,000 LE, in the presence of the club president Ms.Mona Gemeia. Great thanks to everyone for saving her life.

Giza Alahram Club – Club meeting to discuss sustainable and ongoing projects

Giza Alahram Club.

On Monday, January 22, the Giza Alahram Club, under the presidency of Mrs. Nadia Mansour and the club members, had the honor of receiving District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Elfutouh , & honorary secretary Mrs. Omneya Hanna at the Ambassador Hotel in Dokki, where a meeting characterized by warmth and friendship was held. During the meeting, the club president presented the club’s sustainable and ongoing projects, as well as proposals for the coming period, in line with this year’s slogan “Shine a Light”.

Mrs. Mona AbuElfutouh then delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of clubs’ participation and collaboration in various activities and projects to ensure their successful completion and to enhance the connections and friendships between the clubs. She also stressed the need to continue monitoring sustainable projects, whether for the clubs or the region’s national projects in Region 95.

The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts,

symbolizing the friendship and love that underlie the interaction.

Alexandria IWC – Pediatric Oncology Center at Borg El Arab University Hospital donation

On January 27th, 2024, the members of the IWC of Alexandria, led by Mrs. Shahira Maher, visited the Pediatric Oncology Center at Borg El Arab University Hospital. They donated a check of 140,000 LE to the hospital manager, Dr. Shady Fadel, for children’s medications, in line with this year’s theme “Shine a Light.”

In adherence to the inspiring motto “Shine a Light,” the Innerwheel club of El Nile, led by President Mrs. Maha Serour, wholeheartedly contributed 10,000 LE to the Association of Hoda Shaarawi. This gracious donation was meticulously allocated, with 5,000 LE designated for savings books for orphans and an equivalent sum for women family providers (specifically those eligible for social assistance). The benevolent gesture was offered on the 22nd of January 2024, reflecting the organization’s commitment to meaningful philanthropic engagement.

On Monday, January 29, 2024, the Heliopolis Innerwell Club, led by President Mrs. Salwa Selim, visited Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital They generously donated 50 thousand pounds to the hospital’s kidney unit and purchased filters for the dialysis unit amounting to 10 thousand and 760. Gratitude to all who contributed to this noble cause. Remember, by giving, God will not waste your reward.

IW Club of Petra – The National Center for Agricultural Research visit

On January 23rd 2024, Mrs. Dina Alawneh, President of IWC of Petra, along with Mrs. Nadine Al-Muasher, Vice President, Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini, Secretary, and Mrs. Mai Al-Masri, visited The National Center for Agricultural Research, where they were welcomed by Dr. Nizar Haddad, the Director General of the center. During the visit, the IWC of Petra extended support to the “Zero West Garden” project, an initiative within the agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship incubator. This project involves cultivating specific earthworms that consume organic waste, resulting in the production of vermicompost, a high-quality organic fertilizer.

Mrs. Alawneh highlighted that this backing aims to implement and transfer the project’s outcomes to three leading farms to optimize its advantages and promote the use of organic fertilizers.
