Gala Dinner at Diplomatic Club

On January 9, 2023,

Mrs. Suzan Kilani D95 National Representative, Mrs. Nora Fayek District 95 Chairman and D95 Executive Committee hosted the IIW President Mrs. Zenaida Farcon and her spouse PDG Mr. Virgilio Farcon over a Gala Dinner in honor of their visit to Egypt, at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo.

This special evening was in recognition of D95 P. Board Directors, P. National Representatives, P. District Chairwomen, recipients of The Margarette Award and the Presidents of the 32 IW clubs in Egypt and Jordan.

Mrs. Suzan welcomed the IIW President and her spouse and expressed gratitude to all attendees for their service to Inner Wheel since the formation of D95 Egypt and Jordan 52 years back.

Visit of IIW President to Cancer Children’s Hospital 57357

On, January 9, 2023, Ms. Zenaida Farcon, IIW President on the second day of her visit in Cairo, visited Cancer children’s hospital 57357 accompanied by the NR Mrs. Suzan Kilani, and D95 Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek. She was received by Dr.Sherif Abo El Naga the CEO of the hospital and the District committee and IW members from different clubs

Hospital 57357 is one of the sustainable projects of the IW Clubs in District 95.

The visit began with a tour in the hospital of the various departments.

Dr. Sherif Abu El-Naga, CEO of the hospital, gave a full explanation of the latest treatment equipment that serve patients free of charge, and the latest methods of technology artificial intelligence. Mused in the hospital. Then the delegation went to the art and drawing room, where art therapy takes places.

The delegation presented their donations to Dr. Sherif Abul-Naga, IWC of Zamalek, IWC of Nasr City, IWC of Sphinx, IWC of Al-Gezira Sporting and IWC of Garden City.

A documentary video presented the work & the support of IW clubs was watched by the delegation.

At the end The IIW President presented a speech in which she expressed her admiration to the support of the Inner Wheel Clubs in this great edifice.

IIW President arrived at Cairo Airport

Mrs. Zenaida Farcon, President of IIW & her husband Mr. Virgilio Farcon arrived at Cairo Airport on Sunday, January 8, 2023, on an official visit to District 95, Egypt and Jordan.

They were welcomed at the airport by D95 National Representative. Mrs. Suzan Kilani and D95 Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek

The IIW President and her husband had dinner with the executive committee in Abdel Wahab (Maxim) Restaurant in a friendly atmosphere

IWC of Sphinx presented financial donation to Abu Al-Rish Children’s Eye Hospital to purchase medical supplies.

Under the slogan of the year “Work Wonders ” The Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, presented financial donation to Abu Al-Rish Children’s Eye Hospital to purchase medical supplies.

IWC of El Nile donated a sum of money to perform an open heart surgery for a 7 year old child

IWC of El Nile donated a sum of money to perform an open heart surgery for a child from Beni Suef, 7 years old, with an Areal Septal Defect ( a hole in the heart). The surgery was done at Abu El Rish Children’s hospital in Cairo. The operation was completed successfully and was performed by Prof.Dr. Amal El-Sisi.

‏ IWC of Alexandria Sporting joined the medical convoy in “El Basila district” in Aswan

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting joined the medical convoy in “El Basila  district” in Aswan from the 15th till the 18th of January.

‏The President of the Club Mrs. Rania Sherif Bayoumi and some of the club members were able to join the convoy that investigated 200 eye examinations and cataract and examined more than 200 child and adults.

‏Moreover, the medical convoy was able to help in the equipment of 3 orphaned brides and helping 6 widows  with their living costs.

‏The convoy was able to distribute 200 blankets for our families in Upper Egypt  to help out with the warm winter campaign.

‏In addition, the convoy was able to help with donations for the “Magdy Yacoub Heart   Foundation”.

‏The convoy will continue to help our families in Upper Egypt as it’s our mission to help them in living a better life. Together and with the help of your donation we can Work Wonders .

IWC of El Sherouk held the Annual Charity Bazaar at Cairo University

Under the Slogan of this year  “ work wonders” on December 28, 2022  the annual Charity clothes exhibition of IWC of El Shorouk was held at Cairo university. It was inaugurated by Prof.Dr. Mohamed Samy Abd El Sadek Vice President of Cairo University for community service & Environmental  Development.

The exhibition lasted for 2 days, during which the turnout was high. Everyone was impressed by the diversity & quality & quantity of the displays.

It is the 18th successive exhibition for IWC of El Sherouk , and this year it was in collaboration with Rotary El Sherouk

Thanks to Mrs Tatou El Menawy  president of the Club , Mrs Zeinab Diaa El Din  founder of the club , and all members of the club for their help & efforts and devotion

IWC of Amman Philadelphia Visited “ My heart” for the Special Needs

The Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia presided by Mrs Duha Abdulhadi visited with a number of the club executive committee on Saturday January 21st, the centre ‘My Heart’ as a part of the club monthly support program for the special need and for the associations that care for those who are less fortunate.

The chairperson of the center gave a brief idea about the center and how it is managed. He explained that the program for helping the children is divided into three categories, THE HEART GIVES, THE HRART HEALS, and THE HEART TEACHES.

The club president presented a laptop  as a donation from Mr Safwan Kakish the chairperson of the Computer company.

The club had also donated sum of money as a tuition premium to one of the students.

Some juices and snacks were served to the children there who are suffering from Down Syndrome.

At the end of the visit there was communication and interaction with the children which gave joy and pleasure to both parties and souvenir photos were taken.

Mrs Duha Abdulhadi along with the club executives thanked the chairperson of the center and his dignified team wishing them all success and continued support. The club had also donated sum of money as a tuition premium to one of the students.

IWC of Nasr City signed the protocol for the Effective Teaching Strategies Program in the Digital Age

Under the slogan “Work Wonder ” and directing attention to the development of the human element in the public education system, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, on January 2, 2022, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, signed the protocol for the Effective Teaching Strategies Program in the Digital Age.

With the National Authority for  Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education  NAQAAE affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. It included training 30 teachers from primary governmental national schools on Effective Teaching Strategies in the Digital Age, and it includes:

Psychology and learning characteristics in the digital age (know your audience)

Student skills in the twenty-first century

– Multiple intelligences, learning styles and personality styles

Diversifying teaching strategies in the digital age

Classroom management skills

– Ensuring the quality of education in the digital age

Mrs. Hend Mortagi, represented The

IWC of of Nasr City in signing the protocol, while Dr. Youhansen Eid The Chairman of Board Directors of the Authority

represented the National Authority for  Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education NAQAAE in signing the protocol.

The number of beneficiaries of teachers is 30

The number of students beneficiaries is  more than 1000 students annually
