IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited “Dar El Hana” for elderly women

On Wednesday, 22nd Mar 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean visited “Dar El Hana” for elderly women to celebrate Mother’s Day.

During the visit the members learned more about the service of the home.

Gifts, food and sweets were presented to the inmates.

At the end, a certificate of thanks and appreciation was presented to the club.

IWC of Garden City held a clothing Exhibition the College of Physical Education in Zamalek

Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, chaired by Didi Al-Sourani , held a clothing exhibition at the College of Physical Education in Zamalek for Girls on March 20, 2023. The revenue of the exhibition will be donated for the expenses of the students.

 

IWC of Garden City also presented a cash donation to Leprosy colony in Abu  Zaabal) on March 21, and this is the second donation of the club this year, due to their urgent need

IWC of Amman Philadelphia paid a visit to the “Golden Age Home”

In Celebrating the month of Ramadan, the Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia, presided by Mrs Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi and a number of the executive committee paid a visit to a retirement home , the “Golden Age Home” on March 25,2023

The Association of the “Golden Age Home” was founded by her excellency Mrs Haifa Al-Bashir in 1971, it is a non- profit association that caters for 120 persons of both men and women.

Mrs. Amneh took the visitors on a tour around the place where they met and chatted with some of residents.

Mrs. Duha thanked the staff for their immense efforts in running this association.

A donation from the club and some private donors of 2 wheelchairs, a TV screen and supplying products were presented to the Vice President and her staff who in their turn thanked the club and its members for such a generous gesture.

IWC of Alexandria East distributed Ramadan Bags to Smouha University Hospital & “Ayadi Almustakbal” Hospital

Coinciding the “Ketf fi ketf” initiative (Shoulder by Shoulder), Prof. Mona Gamal El-Din Ibrahim – President of Inner Wheel Alexandria East Club, and some club members distributed 100 Ramadan Bags on, March 21st, 2023 on the employees at Smouha University Hospital, “Ayadi Almustakbal” (Future Hands) Hospital for Cancer treatment for the unable and also on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023 to some of the deserving families in the villages of Bahij and the old Borg El Arab City in Alexandria
The Ramadan Bags are a donation from the “Mohamed Ragab Charitable Foundation” and the “Integrated Care Association in Alexandria”.

Joint Meeting between IWC of New Cairo & IWC of Nasr City to discuss the book “Kan” written by Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed.

On March 2, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Mrs. Nihal El-Bakry, and the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, held a joint meeting at the Air Force Club to discuss the book “Kan” written by Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed.

The symposium delved into the human psyche by raising crucial questions about freedom, peace, and the search for homelands such as:

Are freedom and peace limited to certain people? What are the limits of cruelty and human greed? Are Western societies characterized by complete neutrality or does racism rule everywhere?

The seminar was attended by Mrs. Siham El Gohary, the founder of Nasr City Club and International IW Board Member, Awatef El Nasharty Past District Chairman,members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr ,members of different IWCs and members of the Book Club. The gathering was characterized by friendship, laughter, and the attendees thanked Mrs. Nour Abdel Majed for her patience and for the interesting debates.

IWC of Nasr City visited the House of Blind Elderly Women

On the occasion of Mother’s Day and under the slogan “Work Wonders». The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi and a number of club members, visited the House of Blind Elderly Women and provided them and the workers at the home with a lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day .

The visit of the D95 (Egypt & Jordan) Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek and the Executive committee to Mansoura and Tanta Clubs on March 18, 2023.

The ceremony started with the national anthem. Then, Mrs. Basma Saleh, the President of IWC of Mansoura, welcomed Ms. Nora Fayek, D95 Chairman and the members of the Executive committee, Mrs. Afaf Maged, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Enaya Shararah, Deputy National Representative, Ms. Hala Hagras, Past Chairman, Mrs. Azza Al-Mofti, the Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Rime Nazih, the International Service organizer, Ms. Fatma Abu Hatab, the Editor, Mrs. Mervat El-Azzouni, the webmaster, Ms. Amira Aref, the president of IWC of Tanta, the Past NR, Nadia El Mikati, the Past District Chairmen, Mrs. Awatef El Nasharty and Mrs. Mona Aref, and the coming D95 Chairman, Ms. Mona Aboul Fotouh, and Vice Chairman Mrs. Viola Ramsis. She also welcomed all IW members from different IWCs in Cairo, Alexandria, Tanta, Port Said and Ismailia.

In her speech, the D95 Chairman Mrs. Fayek, praised the projects of the two Clubs, and expressed her thanks and appreciation. The Presidents of IWC of Mansoura and IWC of Tanta presented the projects and activities of their clubs.

Symbolic Gifts were exchanged between the D95 Chairman and the presidents of the two Clubs, Mrs. Basma Saleh and Ms. Amira Aref. IWC of Mansoura recognized Mrs. Afaf Maged, the Vice Chairman, for her honorable history with the Inner Wheel in general and the Mansoura Club in particular. To mark Mother’s Day, IWC of Mansoura gave a symbolic gift to Mrs. Fatma Hakee as an expression of love and thanks.

Following the celebration, the IW members visited the Bazar then had lunch in an atmosphere of friendship, fun and love.

IWC of Gezira Sporting visited Fatma El Zahraa primary school.

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and in addition to the coming orphan day ,on March 18, 2023 IWC of Gezira Sporting club headed by Mrs. Wafaa Zaki and the club members visited “Fatma El Zahraa Primary School “at War’ak El Hadar Embaba to distribute 200 Ramadan packages and cash assistance to families in need.

Packages of Sweets & Candies were given to orphan students.

Fatma El Zahraa primary school is one of the sustainable projects of the club since 2003.
