Alexandria Capital Club – Donations for Gaza

Alexandria Capital Club.
November 7th
On Monday, the 6th of November,2023 members of IWC of Alexandria Capital
headed by president dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, started their
second campaign to donate
for the relief of Palestinians in Gaza.

 The donations amounting to 20,000 were delivered, including a variety
of food items.
Sanitary items were also included.

New Cairo – celebrate the 100th anniversary of the International Inner Wheel foundation

On Saturday, November 4, members of Cairo Inner Wheel Clubs gathered at
Andrea New Giza to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the International
Inner Wheel foundation in the presence of District chairman Mrs. Mona
Abu Al-Futouh.
Miss Zein Abdulhadi, a member of the IW club of New Cairo represented
her club.
Throughout the celebration, several commemorative photos were taken to
capture the memorable occasion.

Nasr City Club – Book Club meeting

Nasr City Club.
November 7th.

Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Sherine Arafa, in
coordination with the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo , headed by Mrs.
Nihal El-Bakry, held a Book Club meeting to discuss the book “Naomi
and Her Brothers” by the writer, engineer Hisham Al-Khashin.
The writer reviewed the story of the book that revolves around
“Dissociative Identity Disorder”.
He & attendees also discussed the open ending of the novel.
 The meeting was characterized by strong discussion and engaging
dialogues, and everyone was happy to attend, hoping for another meeting
with the writer.

Lotus club – celebrating 100 years of the formation of the first club in Manchester

The IW clubs all over the world are celebrating 100 years of the
formation of the first club in Manchester. On this special occasion,
many IW clubs in Cairo met. New Giza club with some members met @ Andrea
restaurant to celebrate the occasion.
Lotus club was represented by Nabila Omran &.Omima Al Gayesh.
Members of D95 board attended with District chairman Mona Abu Alfutouh.

Gezeira Sporting Club – Bazar to supplement the sustainable projects of Al Gezeira club.

Innerwheel members of Gezeira Sporting Club headed by Mrs Azza El Mofty held a Bazar at Gezeira Sporting Club in Zamalek for two consecutive days

November 3rd & 4th. The exhibits were characterised by quality and they were well displayed. The demand of purchase was very high and the prices were very symbolic.

The exhibition income will be allocated to supplement the sustainable projects of Al Gezeira club.

Giza Club – Egyptian Red crescent Donation

Giza Club
In response to District 95 initiative and in solidarity with the
palestinian people in Gaza, the IW Club of Giza headed by Mrs /Mona
Gimaie & other distinguished members ,visited the Egyptian crescent to
make a donation with total funds (100000)Egp to provide the essential
supplies for the families in Gaza.(our prayers for Palestine ).

Alexandria Capital Club – Breast Cancer Awareness month

November 4th
Alexandria Capital Club:-

On Tuesday 31st of October,2023
Members of IWC of Alexandria Capital headed by dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul,
organised a seminar about “ Breast Cancer Awareness Day” at the
Syrian Club, attended by members of IW and Rotary clubs in Alexandria.
Professor of Surgical Oncology Dr. Ahmed Tarek Awad, and Assistant Dr.
Rana Eimara, public health and nutrition consultant held the meeting.
 Awareness was shed on the importance of the early detection of cancer,
the signs of this disease & how to do self-examination. The indicators
for this, and performing the necessary tests.
 Also methods of prevention, were introduced by following healthy steps,
including nutrition and the importance of exercises.

Inner wheel Giza Ahram.

In solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to District 95/ Egypt and Jordan initiative to extend a helping hand through the Egyptian Red Crescent, the Inner-Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids, headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour, visited the Egyptian Red Crescent headquarters on Tuesday, October 31st, to make a kind donation with a total value of 40,216 EGP, including blankets and various range of food supplies.

Our heartfelt prayers are with our people in Gaza.

Alexandria Mediterranean – Egyptian Red Crescent donation

In response to the initiative launched by District 95\Egypt & Jordan, and in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent to relieve our Palestinian brothers, Alexandria IW Mediterranean Club, headed by Dr. Eman Shafshak, and club members, donated 74 blankets to the Egyptian Red Crescent on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. May God help our Palestinian brothers in their ordeal. Our prayers are for them. Long live Egypt.
