The IWC of New Cairo, with IWC of Nasr City, initiated a field trip to Gero Land.

On May 24, 2023, under the year’s slogan, “Make Wonders”:

Play is the cure! Studies have shown that playing in the lives of children with special needs has many benefits. It increases the child’s ability to pay attention, improves problem-solving skills, and develops imagination.

Playing, and field trips for children, especially for autistic children, reduce feelings of stress and make them less likely to suffer from depression and anxiety.

The Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, together with the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, initiated a field trip to Gero Land, the amusement park, for around 60 children and supervisors. An entertainment program was prepared for them, including all the different games for a full day. At the end of the day, the children were served delicious meals and drinks.

The children enjoyed the day, and the parents thanked the association for this beautiful event.
