IWC of Tanta held the clothing exhibition in the faculty of science

On Sunday, December 11, 2022,  under the slogan “Work Wonders,” the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Amira Aref held a clothing exhibition in the Faculty of Science, Tanta University. The University’s Vice President for Environmental Affairs inaugurated the exhibition, which lasted for 5 days. The IWC members donated clothes (new and used) and the revenue of the exhibition went toward covering the expenses of financially unable students. A special thanks to everyone who contributed and participated in the success of the exhibition.

IWC of Tanta handed over an Electric Chair to a Special need student

On Sunday, December 11, 2022

‏Mrs. Amira Aref, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, and club members handed over an electric wheelchair to a student with special needs at the Faculty of Science in Tanta University in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Science and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of  Social Solidarity in Tanta

Reem Bassiouni gave a talk about “Sufism and the Path to Happiness” to IWC of Nasr City

Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City held a lecture on December 14, 2022, the Baron Hotel, entitled “Sufism and the Path to Happiness”. In a joint meeting between the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by the President Mrs. Hend Mortagi & the Rotary Club of Nasr City led by President Mr. Murad Nassif

and Rotary Al-Shorouk led by President Mrs. Manal Ghaly

Dr. Reem Bassiouni was the speaker; She is a writer, novelist, and professor at the American University of Cairo, and has won many awards, the latest of which is the State Award for Excellence in Literature 2021-2022.

Dr. Reem Bassiouni has shed light on the methods of the Sufis in approaching God and their principles in life.

The lecture was commented on by professors and cultural personalities who unanimously agreed on the importance of the subject of Sufism and its role in consolidating the faith spiritually in society.

IWC of Nasr City held the annual exhibition at the College of Girls, Ain shams University

Under the slogan (Work Wonders), the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, and in the presence of some club members, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, held the annual exhibition of used and new clothes at the College of Girls, Ain Shams University, Mrs. Dr. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the College of Girls at Ain Shams University, cut the exhibition opening ribbon and gave a speech about the importance of donating the unwanted garments. “You let your clothes be loved all over again. You might not be getting much use out of that suit or dress, but someone else definitely will – Your clothes will begin a new journey and be part of new memories. Far better than being binned and forgotten. So, share the love – donate and send your clothes on a new adventure”

The exhibition witnessed a turnout of students, and they all loved their new garments.

The club donated the income from the exhibition to pay the expenses of the students who are unable.

At the end of the exhibition, the dean handed the president of the club a certificate of thanks and appreciation for holding the charity exhibition

Mrs. Nora Fayek D95 Chairman attended a Charity Christmas Lunch organized by IWC of Alexandria & IWC of Alexandria East

On Monday 5th of December 2022, Mrs. Nora Fayek the chairman of D95 Egypt & Jordan, and her accompanying delegation Afaf Maged the Vice Chairman, and Hala Hagras the Past Chairman attended the Charity Christmas Lunch organized by the IWC of Alexandria headed by Mona El Hakim and IWC of Alexandria East headed by Mona Gamal at the Syrian Club.

We also had the honor to have with us Enaya Sharara the Deputy NR, Mervat El Azzouni the Webmaster, Sherifa Sakr the Past IlW Board Member, and the Past D95 Chairmen Zainab El Ghazaly, Awatef El Nacharty, Samia Hatata, Mona Aref, and Mona Abou El Fetouh the PD Honorary Secretary.

The IWC of Alexandria and the IWC of Alexandria East presidents Mona El Hakim and Mona Gamal welcomed the D95 Chairman and all the board members and distinguished guests.

Then Mrs. Nora Fayek spoke about the visit of the IIW President to Cairo on the 10th of January 2023 and the importance of the attendance of IW members.

The Christmas event also included a small charity bazaar where a group of young special needs participated with their handicraft products as well as leather products and handbags made from recycled materials.

After lunch was served, everyone enjoyed cheerful oldies by Tarek Nassar and his band in an atmosphere full of joy and love.

IWC of Giza Pyramids Organized a Charity Exhibition in the Faculty of Education For Early Childhood

Under the slogan of “Work Wonders”

On the 4th and 5th of December, IWC of Giza Pyramids, headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour, with the club members organized a charity clothing exhibition, for the students and the staff of the Faculty of Education For Early Childhood – Cairo University in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty. This exhibition is held annually as a part of the club’s sustainable projects.

To activate the initiative of D95 Chairman Mrs.Nora Fayek, the IW club planted a tree in the faculty in order to preserve the environment

On Saturday, December 10, the Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids, headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour, made a donation for the construction of a water well (2 tanks) to serve 100 families in a village in Beni Suef Governorate, which suffers from a lack of potable water

On December 10, IWC of Giza Pyramids headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour, and some club members visited Qatar Al-Nada home for Orphanage they provided 32 girls vouchers to buy winter clothes. The Club supports the home, it is one of their sustainable projects

Tuesday the 13th of December 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting collaborated with the Faculty of Pharmacy in its yearly charity fair. Special thanks to those with participated in either donating clothes or helping out with the fair.  The money collected will be donated to those who struggle with paying their university fees
