In conjunction with the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022, COP27 World in Sharm El Sheik, and in line with its objectives to preserve nature, environment and climate from pollution and heat emissions, and in response to the initiative of Mrs. Nora Fayek, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, planted a tree in the garden of Pioneer Senior Citizens Forum, which was established to serve the welfare and interests of the elderly.

The club’s ladies were received by the founder and chairwoman of the forum, Mrs. Haifa Al-Bashir, who appreciated this initiative to plant trees, either individually or as part of a group, in order to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
