Inner Wheel Club D95

On Thursday, August 18th, 2022, a delegation from the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East headed by Dr. Mona Gamal El-Din and club members paid a visit to Borg Al-Arab University “Children Oncology Center “which serves more than 1500 new child annually Two Anesthetic machines

The club donated the following:

• One Operation Scout
• One portable operation Scout
• Two pressure gauges
• Two carbon dioxide measurement devices
• One Pulse Oximetry
• Three warming Units for patients
• Fifty warmer blankets for patients (supplies).
• Four critical care bed
• Four commodes
• Four dining tables
• Four solution holders

The delegation was received by Dr. Shadi Fadel, Director of the hospital, welcomed the delegation and expressed his thanks and gratitude.

On Monday August 15,2022

The Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Mrs. Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, and in cooperation with Mona’s Cultural Salon, held a cultural event to discuss the book: “Years of Struggle: The Women’s Movement in Jordan «, in the presence of its author , the well-known journalist Rana Al-Husseini.

We were honored by the presence of the National Representative of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Suzan Kilani Al-Tayeh, the President of IWC of Amman, Mrs. Vivian Anz, the President of the IWC of Philadelphia, Mrs. Duha Abdel-Hadi, and an umpteen audience of members and guests from the Cultural Salon and Inner Wheel Petra.

It was an interesting session full of discussions and valuable interventions, our guest Al-Husseini answered all questions asked, and presented signed copies of her book to the attendees.

  On Tuesday, August 23rd 2022,

Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by Mrs. Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, paid the debt of two female convicts sentenced for inability to pay.
The lawyer, Ms. Adele Abu Al-Rish, received the required amount, in the presence of the National Representative, Mrs. Suzan Kilani Al-Tayeh, and members of the club’s board members.
Mrs. Abu Al-Rish thanked Inner Wheel Petra for their generous donation.
IW Petra strives to serve the community especially women who suffer from financial or social hardship

On Monday July 7 2022,

Inner Wheel Petra Club headed by Mrs. Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, and on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, donated the Eid clothes to 100 orphans of Ghor Al-Safi, in cooperation with the “We will live in dignity” charity organization.
Mrs. Abu Al-Ragheb, the Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Lina Husseini , and the Treasurer, Mrs. May Masri, accompanied the children to the Mall to buy Eid clothes.
After the children had a great time in the play area, they had their lunch in a happy atmosphere to celebrate the happy Eid.

On August 16,2022

the Inner wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha headed by Mrs. Sarah Saad, in cooperation with Alexandria Sporting Club Dog Owners, visited the “Meem Foundation for Autism” to experience the extent of children’s interaction with dogs as part of their therapy plan. The results were all positive, with praise from specialists in the institution.

 

On August 23rd August,

Inner Wheel  Club of Amman Philadelphia headed by Mrs Duha Abdulhadi and a number of committee members paid a visit to “Al talbieh refugee Camp” and donated 100 school bags,that contained pencil case and coloring book, to the first  and second graders. Twenty of these bags were allocated to the children of special needs. A collection of children stories were dedicated to the school library.

At the end of the visit, the club members distributed sweets and took souvenir photos.

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha, headed by Mrs. Sarah Saad, covered the costs of a cataract operation for a needy woman who could not afford it.

On August 8, 2022,

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean, headed by Dr. Zizi Olama, Dr. Viola Ramsis, the club founder, and club members, has organized a Charity exhibition, in Alexandria Automobile &Touring Club, proceeds were dedicated to support the club’s projects

On Sunday July 24, 2022,

the Inner wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha, headed by Mrs. Sarah Saad, covered the costs of a ureteral stent operation for a young man whose is in a desperate need of the operation and could not afford it.

 On July 26, 2022,

Mrs. Amira Aref, President of Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, Mrs. Omaima Nassar the treasurer, and Mrs. Ghada Rahmy a club member visited the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tanta and presented a check amount of 6800 LE as a contribution from the club to pay the tuition fees for 6 financially unable students, in order to receive their graduation certificates.
