IWC of Giza Pyramids Distributing Ramadan Food Bags

7/4/2021The Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids under the presidency of Mrs. Eman Selim and with the participation of Nany Rashed and Azza Dowidar distributed Ramadan food bags as a usual every year since 2004 in El Mashabek Youth Center in Haram on illiteracy class students, center workers and the needy families in the area. Also, Ramadan bags were distributed on the workers at the Yacht club and some bags were sent to families in need in the Kerdasa area.

In addition, IWC of Giza Pyramids continue one of its usual practices since years which is the contribution of club’s members by donating money for (Fasting breakfast) initiative that are being distributed in poor areas by a group of volunteers every Ramadan.

IWC of Alexandria Distributing Ramadan Coupons

11/4/2021 On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan; the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria headed by Mrs Omayma Helaly visited the Intellectual Education Institute for boarding girls to distribute Ramadan coupons for the staff and the girl’s families.

They also paid a visit to the Child Care Agency to donate Ramadan coupons for the staff as well as a variety of food products for iftar meals for all the 60 children during the whole month of Ramadan.

At the end of the day, they visited the Syrian Club to donate Ramadan coupons to the club’s staff members.

IWC of Al Mansoura visiting the Orphanage attached to The Women’s Association for Health Improvement in Talkha

8/4/2021To celebrate the Orphan Day falling in the month of April, and to activate the IW slogan “Lead the Change.”

The President of IWC of Al Mansoura Mrs. Nagwa Kandil visited the orphanage attached to the Women’s Association for Health Improvement in Talkha.

She was accompanied by Mrs.Nana El Tarshouby District 95 Editor  and the Past president of IWC of Al Mansoura and the honorary secretary of the club.

The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and the Director of the House.

The celebration began with greetings and chanting with the sweet voices of the children, which filled the attendees with joy and pleasure. The visitors spent some time with the children, harvesting energies of happiness and interaction of love and were overwhelmed with happiness and generosity of the children.

 

The President of IWC of Al Mansoura contributed with a donation to the association.

In the occasion of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan sweets and gifts were distributed to the children.

3/4/2021Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by Dr. Mervat Ramses visited the Girlfriends Coptic Bible Society, nonprofit organization, on the Orphan’s day. They donate a check for the orphans.

They celebrated with the children this day by presenting gifts and sweets to bring joy to their hearts. Finally they visited the place and they were impressed by the excellent system and services provided to these children and they wished them continued support .

IWC of Nasr City: A New Seminar for the book club

27/3/2021An elite group of Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City gathered after a long absence the meeting was filled with feelings of longing, love, sincere friendship, and longing for companionship all wrapped around the pool of Hilton Heliopolis hotel, in a new seminar for the “Book Club.”  Headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed. with a group of members of the Book Club from several other clubs where the sun of knowledge, thought and culture shone to enlighten minds and saturate the souls with meanings, feelings and human experiences through the discussion of two books.

The first book by the creative writer Rasha Samir, “The heart has another destination “.

The second story, “Laila And Orjouan”, written by the gentle, romantic young writer Rania Ezzi, who makes her way to join the ranks of the creative women writers.

A special greeting to Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakri, the mastermind behind the idea of ​​the “Book Club” and the Deputy NR who influenced our minds with this high-end project. and Mrs. Awatef Al-Nacharti, Past District Chairman, and Mrs. Dina Mashed District Assistant Governor was also present and to another meeting soon, God willing.

Visit of District Chairman & IWCs to IWC of El Minya

27/3/2021“Knowledge is Light, and Reading is Life.”

A wonderful initiative from the heart of Aton coinciding with the visit to the bride of Upper Egypt, Al Minya.

Mrs. Mona Aref District 95, Egypt and Jordan, Chairman visited, Inner Wheel Club of Al Minya She was accompanied by several members, the District Editor and  members of IWC’s of El Mansoura & Sphinx .

 

President of IWC of Al Minya and Past President invited the delegation to visit one of the sustainable projects of Al Minya Club (Home for Education and Social Care for Boys) The delegation members were welcomed by the persons in charge of running that house.

 

In her speech Mrs. Mona Aref underlined the importance of reading and the necessity to go back to it and encourage reading. Then she announced that she launched a great initiative in which the clubs of the district participated. In order to activate this initiative (Knowledge is Light and Reading is Life), she offered a complete library containing valuable collections of books in many areas of knowledge to the house.

IWC of Al Minya was the first to activate this great initiative in Egypt’s IWCs.

 

Later on, they moved to Aton Hotel located on the banks of the Nile to attend the meeting. In an atmosphere of friendship, happiness, and with a wonderful and picturesque view, the meeting began. Mrs. Mona Aref started the meeting by underlining the real meaning of love, which raises the value of oneself “when you want to be unique you have to make incredible efforts”. Then underlined on how to activate this year’s slogan (Lead the Change).

She also expressed her thanks and gratitude to the President of IWC of Al Minya   and the members for their speedy response to activate her cultural initiative, Science is Light, and Reading is Life, and to conclude she praised all their efforts made throughout this IW year.

Mrs. Hoda Fathy expressed her great happiness for holding this meeting in March, which includes 3 occasions for women: The International Women’s Day, the Egyptian Women’s Day and Mother’s Day.

Mrs Mona Aref reviewed the club’s activities and projects, which were well received by the attendees. At the end, the District Chairman and Al Minya President exchanged souvenirs.

IWC of Nasr City Celebrates the Mother’s Day at the Bright Tomorrow Friends Association.

20/3/2021 On an occasion that combined feelings of love, tenderness, and dedication to a group of angels with special needs who were being taken care of by hearts and minds that were able to accommodate their physical, mental and psychological needs within an edifice called “The Bright Tomorrow” … which is an elaborate name as it shines with humanitarian meanings and an enlightened thought to help and contain a group of our children with special needs to rehabilitate them and integrate them into society as productive members … through a scientific, systematic and thoughtful methodology with great care to give the desired result…Accordingly, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, celebrated on Saturday, March 20, the Mother’s Day event at the headquarters of the “Bright Tomorrow Friends” Association for the Care of Special Need Groups (which is one of the club’s sustainable projects) with the Chair of the Board of Directors Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem and the honorable members of her board … The club honored several the ideal mothers who play a distinguished role with their children who are students of the association. The association also honored several faculty members as well as working in different departments to celebrate Mother’s Day. And the association’s students gave performances and singing to the guests of the ceremony, and entertainment shows were also presented ..
And at the end of the event, Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem and members of the club celebrated with the cutting of the cake along with the Ideal Mothers.

IWC of Giza Pyramids visited Illiteracy classes in El Mashabek youth center& Qatr El Nada Orphanage

16/3/2021On Tuesday 16th of March coincided with Egyptian Women’s Day and Mother’s Day celebrations and following this year’s Slogan (Lead the Change).

The Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids under the presidency of Mrs/ Eman Selim and the club correspondent Azza Dowidar on behalf of all other members visited illiteracy classes in El-Mashabek youth center which is one of club’s sustainable projects and gave encouragement rewards to the class teacher as an appreciation to her efforts and to students as a celebration for nowadays several women’s related occasions.

 

Moreover, visited Qatr El Nada Orphanage also as one of club’s ongoing projects and offered incentive rewards  to all the substitutional mothers as an appreciation for their great role in taking good care of all the orphans there.

IWC of Nile accompanied by Mona Aref D95 chairman visited the Cardiac & Intensive care Department at El Demerdash Hospital

28/3/2021The IWC of El Nile accompanied by Mrs. Mona Aref, Chairman of District 95, Egypt and Jordan, and in the presence of Mrs. Nabila Galal, President of the club, and club members, Amina Nassar and Maha Abul-Fotouh, visited the Cardiac and Intensive Care Department at El Demerdash Hospital at Ain Shams University. The ladies were received by Dr. Nabil Farag, Head of the Cardiac Department.  The club donated a check of 150,000 pounds and 10,000 cash to buy cardiac trauma devices and to help develop the intensive care of the cardiac department.

Medical Ophthalmology Convoy done by IWCs of Alexandria

12/3/2021Under the slogan “LEAD THE CHANGE”, the “The Place of Lights is in the Hearts” initiative, undertaken by Mrs. Mona Aref, Chairman of District 95 Egypt & Jordan, was inaugurated on March 12, 2021.

 

The main goal of this initiative is to perform on-site eye surgeries on patients who are financially in need in the newly built compound of Bashayer al-Khair (1). The five Alexandrian Inner Wheel Clubs ( IWC of Alexandria, IWC of Alexandria East, IWC of Alexandria El Nozha, IWC of Alexandria Sporting & IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean) participated in sponsoring the Medical Ophthalmology Convoy. Consultant Ophthalmologists including Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shama, Dr. Zakaria Moyhe El Dine and Dr. Mohamed Samir carried out around 70 eye surgeries (cataract, squint & retinal injections) over the course of two days. This medical convoy is under the supervision of the Ministry of Health Undersecretary Dr. Mohamed Saqaan, and in the presence of Dr. Emad Khalaf, the director of the medical sector at the ministry.

 

The Inner Wheel members and their guests visited Gamal Hamada Hospital to support this effort as one team that is committed to the friendship and service objectives of the Inner Wheel Mrs. Mona Aref was accompanied by the presidents of Wheel clubs of Alexandria: Mrs. Omayma Helaly, President of IWC of Alexandria, Mrs. Jailan Mokhtar, President of IWC of Alexandria East, Mrs. Iman El Gamal Alexandria El Nozha, Mrs. Mervat Ramses President of IWC of Mediterranean, and Mrs. Dina El Hadary, President of IWC of Alexandria Sporting, in addition to a number of distinguished members and Mervat Al-Azzouni, the district webmaster.

 

This is the first major project where all Alexandria IW clubs worked, under the leadership of the district chairman. We hope that it will be the nucleus of serious and fruitful cooperation among the IW clubs in the coming years.
