Inner Wheel Club D95

On Saturday the 17th of October 2020, the members of Inner Wheel Club of Giza arranged a cultural visit to Barron Empain Palace, which has recently undergone renovations. The group also visited the Jewish synagogue at downtown Cairo.
Mrs.Hala Hagrass , Vice Chairman District 95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Mona Abo-Elfettoh honorary secretary D95, the Past National Representative ,Mrs. Affaf Maged and our very own Mrs. Nadia Al Mikati attented the trip.
It was a very intellectual and informative trip with the thorough explanation of Mrs. Khadiga Lotfy our tourist guide.

Under this year’s slogan (lead the change) and in our belief in our role in society to provide a helping hand to help get a better life, the Inner wheel Club of Alexandria Nozha headed by Mrs. Iman El-Gamal during the month of October donated a prosthetic limb to a student in order to provide a better chance in life

On 13th of October 2020.Under the supervision of Inner Wheel club of El-Minya and the President of the club Mrs. Hoda Fathy and with coordination with Minya general police club , they organized Back to school event , which provided the needy with the school fees and the supplies required per each student. This event is one of the club permanent activity which is funded by the club members.
After distributing and giving them the gifts , the police club had welcomed those students and made the amusement park available for free and allowing the students for to have leisure time before the school start ,and they enjoyed their times with their families.
A thankful and appreciation certificate was provided to the Police club for the good hospitality.

Inner Wheel Club ElِTahir headed by Mrs. Lubna Al-Messiri contributed to a surgery “Closure of an arterial link in the Heart ” for a five-month-old girl on October 20, 2020 at Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital, in the presence of both P.President Fatma Barada and P.President Suad Al-Gredly . Dr. Amal Al-Sisi successfully performed the surgery.

On Wednesday October, 14, 2020 The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria headed by President Omayma helaly sent a variation of food Production to the intellectual Institution boarding girls that covers one month.

On Monday, October 12th, 2020, the club held a meeting at Al-Jazira Sporting Club.
First started with a meeting at 12noon for the club’s board of directors.
Followed at 1pm by a meeting for the members of the club as a whole in order to lay down the main guidelines and working plan for the New Year 2020/2021 especially in light of the current circumstances in the country.
The club will meet twice a month as usual on the second and fourth Monday of every month, and we will be informed of the dates and suggested places at least a week ahead and surely all will be held at open-air places are chosen if possible with the necessity to take all needed precautions for the safety of everyone.
Given the circumstances that we are all going through this year and the necessity to support the annual basic projects and commitments that the club undertakes, such as the following :
-My Children’s Association
-Nidaa Association
-Right to Life Association
-Ain Shams Hospital
As for the Dar Al-Hana shelter, which the club annually takes into account and supports, our responsible female members will continue doing this work and help the club maintain its commitments.
Some ideas and suggestions were proposed and discussed among all members which enabled us to practice work and support our various projects.

On a beautiful Monday morning, 12th of October 2020, President of Inner wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia, Mrs. Rawand Abu Hantash and the committee welcomed members of the club and their friends at Compass Hotel to enjoy a delicious breakfast while listening to an informative lecture given by Mrs. Suzan Al Khatib under the title “How to understand the message beyond COVID-19 pandemic””.
In the name of the club, Mrs. Rawand offered a financial aid to “Family Violence Protection Association” which was received by their representative Mrs. Rasha El Ramahi.
Mrs. Rasha then gave a brief history about the association; their mission, goals and services they offer.
Taking into consideration the defense laws in Jordan, the practice of social distancing was followed.
It was a lovely evening filled with love and positivity.

The inner Wheel Club of El Minya headed by Mrs. Hoda fathi held on October 4,2020 a meeting to prepare back to school activity ,which is one of the sustainable projects of the club .The members agreed to hold the celebration at El Minya Police Club before the beginning of the School academic year.

On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, the Chairman of District 95 Egypt & Jordan Mrs. Mona Aref, accompanied by members of the distinguished district committee, Mrs. Hala Hagras (Vice Chairman), Mrs. Mona Abul-Fotouh (Honorary Secretary), Mrs.Ninette Sharara (Extension Chairman), Mrs. Mona El Gemeii (International Service Organizer),and Mrs. Iman Tarshouby (District Editor), visited the Baheya Foundation For Breast Cancer which is one of the main projects to support and sustain women. The delegation was received by Baheya’s officials. They watched a documentary about the foundation’s activities and work since its inception. Next, the delegation was invited to visit various departments. Inner Wheel members donated to the benefit of the 36 patients being treated at the hospital. They also distributed sweets and showed their moral support and solidarity.

The District Chairman calls on Inner Wheel clubs to be pragmatic and to contribute with donations or other humanitarian gestures to these bright projects in Egypt.

IWC of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Inas Megahed on the occasion of celebrating the International Day of Peace, and responding to the initiative of Chairman of District 95 Egypt & Jordan Mrs. Mona Aref. The President of the club and some members planted a tree on the October ,3 2020.
