IWC of Port Said raised the efficiency of the Nour Al-Rahman Association for People with Special Needs and donated substantial checks on an annual basis to support their day to day operations.
28/1/2020 Golden Age Home / White Beds Association for the Elderly
IWC of Amman members visited the Golden Age Home / White Beds Association for the Elderly. The club replaced their main door with an electric safe door. The club provided supply and grocery products, and a 55-inch TV screen as part of their support of the Association.
14/4/2020 Donation to the Jordanian Ministry of Health during the Corona Pandemic
A large monetary donation was presented to the Jordanian Ministry of Health to contribute to the country’s efforts in responding to the Corona virus pandemic that Jordan and the world has been passing through.
14/5/2020 Ramadan Donations & Contribution to Al Birr Fund
IWC of Amman Donated a substantial sum of money to Al Birr Fund which is supervised by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund (campaign of Al Bir Wa AL Ihsan), distributed in the form of debit cards to unprivileged families, widows, orphans and daily workers.
16/5/2020 The Green Rooftop Gardens Project in Gaza Refugee Camp
IWC of Amman worked on the Green Rooftop Gardens project which is the cultivation of rooftops in the Gaza refugee camp, to develop resources and self-sufficiency for the families of the camp and provide them with income. We were able to provide 7 rooftops to the camp’s community.
14/6/2020 IWC Amman supports Badwa Center for Special Education
IWC of Amman members visited Badwa Center for Special Education in support of the children with special needs and presented a check to support the center.
15/6/2020 Annulment of Court ruling for 6 women debtors “Al Gharimat”
IWC of Amman paid off the debts of 6 women in order to annul their court ruling and jail sentence. Thousands of Jordanian women face prison terms for not being able to repay loans they received for different reasons, an evolving social and economic problem that is now known as the “gharimat” issue.
16/6/2020 Cooperation with Green Wheelz environmental project
IWC of Amman in cooperation with The Green Wheelz environmental project to collect plastic bottle caps and exchange them in order to buy wheelchairs. Green Wheelz is a non-profit initiative and forum under the umbrella of Hearts United for Environmental Training, which aims at saving the environment, supporting disabled children, and raising awareness and transforming society as well as supporting local economy.
