Inner Wheel Club D95

IWC of Sphinx organized its yearly clothes exhibition for students at the faculty of Music Education in Zamalek. All clothes were sold at moderate prices and proceeds of the sales went to paying university tuition for underprivileged students who are unable to do so.

IWC of Sphinx donated a very large monetary contribution in support of breast cancer patients by taking care of all the treatment expenses of a patient at Baheya Breast Cancer Foundation.

IWC of Sphinx donated a substantial monetary amount to cover hormonal medicine for 15 breast cancer patients at Baheya Cancer Hospital for the duration of 3 months and organized delivery of the medications to the patients homes during the COVID-19 pandemic so that the contagion risk can be reduced.

IWC of Sphinx donated a substantial monetary amount to the Faculty of Medicine at Bani Suweif University to purchase a refrigerator and a pipette for the laboratory.
A pipette is a lab tool commonly used in chemistry, biology and medicine which transports a measured volume of liquid often as a media dispenser.

IWC of Petra donated a large of funds to the Gaza Refugee Camp in Jerash as part of the Club’s sustainable project to support the Children’s winter camp Art and Music Center
The center was established in 2016 by IWC of Petra.

IWC of Petra donated a large monetary contribution to support the initiative
“Your Daily Income Is On Us”
to provide many families with one month of food supplies. Many of these families maikn breadwinners their daily income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and resulting worldwide economic crisis.
This initiative was presented by NAUA “An online platform that helps donors in Jordan by providing access to trusted social projects.

IWC of Petra donated money to the following charity organizations in their mission to help the local community in need and supporting families struggling during difficult times of worldwide COVID19 pandemic.
Our club collaborated with Organizations and accredited charities that immediately mobilized to help those in need, such as orphans, widows, families with special needs children and divorced women

IWC of Petra continues to support projects to support women in rural areas in Jordan to obtain a sustainable income. The club donated a large monetary contribution to establish a productive kitchen in the city of Jerash in the North of Jordan, The facility is owned and supervised by two women from the local community.
The kitchen will offer organic products to sell. This project will go in partnership with BookAgri (A social enterprise dedicated to developing agricultural tourism by showcasing the rural Jordanian cuisine.

IWC of Petra continues to support woman empowerment projects. The club adopted a small boutique in Jarf Al-Daraweesh village south of Jordan by offering a large monetary contribution. This project will provide a woman and her family with a steady income.

IWC of Petra donated a substantial monetary sum to Jordan Education For Women Empowerment and Learning Society (JEWELS) a non-profit organization that offers underprivileged young women a chance to pursue their higher education.
