The Annual Delegate Meeting

The annual meeting of the delegates of the Inner Wheel District 95 Egypt and Jordan was held in Le Pacha in Zamalek. In light of of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the related restrictions on travel, our Jordanian sisters attended the meeting via Zoom.
The national anthems of Egypt and Jordan were played in the beginning. Mrs. Mona Aref, D95 Egypt & Jordan Chairman, welcomed the District committee members, delegates and members attending the meeting either in person in Egypt or remotely from Jordan. Mrs. Iman Al-Bashari, the National Representative welcomed all attendees, read the speech of President Bina Vays. She also pointed out the approach of the IW International Day and how it will be celebrated, especially that the IIW president will be in attendance. The celebration will mark our Golden Jubilee — It will be 50 years since the establishment of the first 5 IWCs in the District. For the celebration to appear in an appropriate style, clubs wishing to participate in this visit must provide assistance.
Mrs. Mona Aref, District Chairman, gave the following speech:
“Dear friends,
Words may dazzle us, but actions will reveal the truth. What is not important is what the person says; more important is that he or she truly believes in every word — Pursue good wherever you are.
This year’s visits are exceptional, they are planned to support certain areas and open doors for good actions. We knock on the doors and they will slowly open.
Our first stop was Baheya Breast Cancer Foundation. The second stop was Al Mansoura in order to activate this year’s slogan: “LEAD THE CHANGE.” The district visited one of the breadwinner woman projects in Damietta Governorate. The following stop was at the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt, also known as 57357 — a positive humanitarian participation in the name of Egypt, the District council in its entirety was there.
His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, sent a message requesting our participation in the largest humanitarian convoy named ‘FOR A WARMER WINTER,’ which aims to provide support to all those who live in the most remote and needy places in Egypt. The Guinness Foundation announced the award of the International Merit Award for this great initiative.
The following and most important speech was in the occasion of the meeting of the female delegates sending out an important message to all club presidents and members.
The vacant positions of the next District Committee were announced in this meeting, and it was confirmed by the District Chairman that the right person to fulfill the position requirements will be selected.
At the end, DC Mona Aref expressed her sincere and deep gratitude to IW, to all IWCs in Egypt and Jordan, and to all her friends who have turned this friendship into a second family. Thank you all for your strong support.”
Then speeches of the District committee members followed. Iman Tarshoubi, the District Editor distributed the 2019/2020 year magazine, which was admired of all the colleagues. The Past Chairman, Suzan Al-Taya, sent a letter of thanks and gratitude for the efforts that were made to produce the newsletter.
The successful meeting ended in a friendly atmosphere.

Visit of Mrs. Mona Aref D95 Egypt& Jordan Chairman to the Student’s Annual Exhibition at Cairo University

To follow up the important, and sustainable projects, Mrs. Mona Aref Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan inaugurated the student’s annual exhibition at Cairo University under the patronage of the President of the University. This exhibition was organized annually for the last 26 years by Mrs. Amal Nameq Past International Representative and Past Chairman of D95 Egypt & Jordan.
This humanitarian project is an example embodying all the meanings and goals of the Inner Wheel including generousness, goodness, and in the same time directs its message to serve the community and to take care of those who are less fortunate in life.

An extraordinary effort was made by Mrs. Amal Nameq , this unique character, to bring out this exhibition in such a decent style. The attendees visited the exhibition and were impressed by the organization and the style of display of the exhibits. The exhibition was divided into two halls one for males and the other for the female students. The organizers distributed clothes as gifts for the unable and with special needs students. To mention exhibits were sold, at a nominal price ranging from 3-10 pounds for the abled.
The outcome of the exhibition was directed to the Student Fund.
Among the attendees were the Past National Representatives and Past District Chairmen, Mrs. Nelly Helmy, Mrs. Suzan Samaha and Mrs. Nabila Al Hakim.

On the occasion of the launching of the largest humanitarian convoy for the support of the most vulnerable families, and in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly and the ministers, Mrs. Mona Aref Chairman of District 95 Egypt & Jordan and the honorary secretary of the district, Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh were honored to attend the celebration held by the Long live Egypt Fund ( Tahya Misr) under the patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, in Al-Masa Theater located in the Administrative Capital. The celebration was also attended by Mrs. Zainab Al-Ghazali and Mrs. Awatef Al-Nasharti Past District Chairmen in addition to a large number of attendees.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation in the participation of various bodies, putting hand in hand, for a better tomorrow.
The Minister of Social Affairs also delivered a speech expressing her deep thanks for the sound efforts made by the charitable societies in Egypt and for their contributions hand in hand for a warm winter.
Major General Mohamed Nabil Nasr, head of the Tahya Misr Fund, thanked and welcomed the achievements of IWCs and their continuous support. Several films and more than a documentary videos were displayed.
The sight of the largest convoy prepared today by the Egyptian hands was one of the deepest and noblest scenes. Tahya Misr Fund was awarded the highest record and was ranked first in the world in humanitarian participation

15/11/2020 In a continuous  effort  of Inner  wheel El Gezira Sporting  Club and through one of  their  sustainable project « The sewing and  tailoring  workshop set up at Al Mashabek Youth Center at Faisal neighborhoods ».Some members paid a visit to the Center carrying a donation of fabrics, stuff and different materials  for the workshop .  The  purpose was to encourage the trainees to  be more productive  and have the tools to learn more thus be able to come up with  a product they can sell  through an exhibition  that will be specially arranged  for them at the center. By selling their products the   trainees will be able to   make some profits thus   enhance their income. IW Gezira ladies experienced in this field make sure to frequently visit the trainees to help them properly use the sewing machines and teach them some useful tips.

14/11/2020, Donation of  Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria headed by Omayma Helaly donated prosthetic limbs to the students of the Faculty of Commerce Alexandria University to change their lives to the better so they can rely on themselves instead of relying on others which effects their mental and moral state positively.

17/11/2020, The Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids under the presidency of Mrs/Eman Selim and with the participation some members of the club organized the yearly clothes exhibition at Faculty of Early childhood Education Cairo University for students as one of the ongoing club’s yearly activities after taking all the precaution measures during the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, and the income of the exhibition is donated to support the financially needy students

IWC of El Tahrir Preforming Cardia Operation to a child with a special need

10/11/2020 Inner Wheel Club of Al Tahrir headed by Lobna El Messery, in coordination with Dr. Amal Al-Sisi, performed a catheterization operation for a cardiac puncture of a child with special needs , who’s one and a half years old and weighing 9 kilograms. This child suffers from mental delay and disability in walking and his muscles are weak, due to the constant infections . The surgery was successful, and we wish the child a full recovery.

The Inner Wheel club of Alexandria El Nozha headed by Mrs. Iman El Gamal on November 5, 2020 in the Syrian Club hosted the nutrition expert Sally Fouad, who spoke about healthy nutrition and its benefits to the human body and its impact on disease prevention
The guests listened to the music of the distinguished saxophone player Mohamed
The attendees toured the exhibition, which presented various and distinctive products
Believing in the club’s humanitarian role in society, and under the slogan (Lead the change), the party’s revenues are directed to the club’s project for the Children’s intensive Department at Al Qabbari General Hospital

A heart surgery to a young girl child done by Inner wheel Club El Giza

On Tuesday, November 10 2020, the Inner wheel club of Giza, headed by Mrs. Gehan Kamel , following up a heart surgery case in Abu al Rish hospital to a 13 year old from girl from El Fayoum .
Dr. Amal Elsisi conducted a pulmonary valve operation with a cost of 34,000 Egyptian pounds to treat the hole.

IWC of Nasr City hosted Mrs. Atta Nour Personality Analyst

In a most enjoyable and exciting symposium that dealt with different topics and opened up horizons concerning the sciences of both energy & and horoscope and their relevance and impact on the personality of individuals .The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City , headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, on Saturday November 7, 2020, hosted Mrs. Atta. Nour, personality analyst of the “ Effect of Positive Energy on human life” and how a person can adopt positivity as a way of living.

Mrs. Atta also talked about the effect of horoscopes on personal qualities and she conducted a practical experiment on the seminar guests to explain the extent of their influence on the behavior of personal features, each one separately.

Mrs. Atta also touched on the world of colors and what each color symbolizes and the extent of its impact on emotions, whether negative or positive and how to choose the appropriate colors that match … with a focus on what harmonizes.  With them and what contradicts

The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City members and their guests expressed their great enjoyment of this symposium, as it contained new, important and unusual information about the world of energy and horoscope.
