IWC of Gezira Sporting joined IWC of Tanta in opening the annual charitable clothes showroom for the students of Tanta University, which provides students with all their clothing needs at very low cost. The proceeds of the project go to the projects of the two clubs, from paying the expenses of the poorer students and donating to the Tanta Cancer Institute and the Orphans and Urban Centers in Giza.

IWC of Gezira Sporting held its annual charity concert at the Egyptian Opera House. The proceeds of the concert went to purchase a Dialysis Machine for Theodore Bilharz Institute.

IWC of Gezira Sporting donated a collection of new and used clothes in good condition to Bahia Boutique in Bahia Cancer Hospital at the Pyramids Al Haram District.

IWC of Gezira Sporting provided a full Prosthesis P to a citizen who lost his leg in a train accident and the prosthesis was delivered to his residence in Sharkia Governorate.

IWC of Gezira Sporting purchased and distributed shoes to complement the usual yearly clothing for orphans and low-income orphans of Fatima Al-Zahra school in Al-Warrak. This initiative was started in October 2019.

IWC of Gezira Sporting gave a donation for the benefit of the employees of the Gezira Sporting Club who were affected by the economic and social conditions the country is going through. The Club had to suspend all activities causing an employment crisis as many of the servers depended primarily on gratuities.

IWC of Gezira Sporting donated a set of curtains to a bride (a former student at Al-Zahraa School) for her new home that she was preparing for her marriage. One of the club’s sustainable projects.

IWC of Gezira Sporting made a financial contribution, in cooperation with the Food Bank, in a campaign: “Supporting daily employment is a responsibility”, and through which 500,000 cartons of food and a bag of food were distributed as food support, as a result of the economic effects of the Corona virus, which affected many segments of the work force.

IWC of Gezira Sporting contributed to the purchase of an Industrial Respirator for the Damerdash Hospital, Ain Shams University, as the Ministry of Health agreed with university hospitals to cooperate with it in confronting Covid-19 in receiving cases and dealing with them.
