Inner Wheel Club D95

On January 14, 2019. Under the presidency of Mrs. Rawda Al-Shazly, members of Inner Wheel Club Alexandria, visited Intellectual Education Association for Special Needs for Girls in Al-Siyouf district.

Members distributed blankets (for girls and boys) and they spend some time with the girls also they inspected the building. Intellectual Education Institution is currently planning to open a shelter for girls from the age of 18 to the age of 35.

Inner Wheel Club of West Cairo gives thanks to the management of Al-Jazira Club and its Chairman Eng. Amr Jazaren and Professor Salwa Abdel Fattah Ali for supporting us in Bazaar Al Khair for the benefit of the Radiology Department of Breast Cancer in Kasr El Aini.

Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek donated to Kheir Wa Baraka Association on 10/12/2018 at its headquarters in Old Cairo in Egypt to provide support to their clinic, especially at the Department of Radiology, so that the families fostered by the club in Old Cairo can get access to treatment and diagnosis.

Members of Innerwheel Club of Zamalek headed by Mrs. Maali Gemaey and in the presence of Mrs. Sana Eid who is responsible for the poor families fostered by the club in the Old Cairo. On 25/12/2018, the club distributed 400 blankets in El-Shaikh Mobarak institution in Old Cairo. Thank you to all of the club members for their participation in this generous charitable. On Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Safir Hotel in Dokki, Inner Wheel Club of Giza headed by Mrs. Lobna Al-Koumy held a joint seminar with Inner Wheel club of North Cairo under the chairmanship of Mrs. Azeema El-Kordani and Nile Club headed by Mrs. Amina Mohamed Nassar.

 

The guest of the seminar was Professor Ahmad Al-Bendari, historian and illustrator of the modern architecture in Egypt.

He spoke about the Khedive of Cairo and the Ismaili square extending from Attaba to Qasr El Nil bridge, which is considered a statement to the prosperity of this period until Cairo was called Paris of the East. He also spoke about the birth and development Downtown Cairo and the history of its buildings.

On Sunday, 23 December 2018. Members of Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura headed by Mrs. Nariman Abdulla visited Dar Al Fadl Orphanage among our annual winter clothing distribution program. Members spent a splendid time with the orphanage girls and listened to their requests.

Dar Al Fadl Orphanage project under the management of Dr. Siham Anan is considered to be one of the sustainable projects of Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Safir Hotel in Dokki, Inner Wheel Club of Giza headed by Mrs. Lobni Al-Koumy held a shared seminar in partnership with Nile Club headed by Mrs. Amina Nassar. The seminar guest was Mrs. Samah Saleh, head of Women’s Development and Sustainability Division and General Director of Environment Development attending on behalf of Mrs. Yasmin Fouad, the Minister of Environment.

The two clubs are honored by the supervision of Mrs. Mona Al-Geamay, the international organizer of IWCs district 95 Egypt & Jordan.

The seminar was interesting and useful, with an atmosphere of friendship.

Mrs. Samah Saleh spoke about climate change problems, emphasizing the environmental dimension to support sustainable development and the need for youth participation in the environmental work system.

Promoting friendship and love between members of Inner Wheel Club in Cairo is the most important goal to Inner Wheel Club.

To execute this goal Inner Wheel Club in North Cairo under the presidency of Mrs. Aziza El Kerdany participated with Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura under the presidency of Nariman Atteia and members of Inner Wheel of Club of Tanta and Inner Wheel Club of Al Gezira.

They had a cultural tour in Prince Mohammed Ali Museum in Manial with the director of the museum followed by a launch in a boat over a Nile view.

Inner Wheel Club of North Cairo then celebrated Mrs. Nagwa Ghoneim previous president with a symbolic gift for her tremendous effort during her presidency period.

We wish God keeps the spirit of love and friendship among us.

On December 31, 2018, members of Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek headed by Mrs. Maali Gemaey visited Kasr El Aini Faculty of Medicine and donated with 2 checks to Ali Nasser Abdel-Aal kidney transplant department with the worth of LE 250,000 for free kidney transplantation to children at Abu Rish Children’s Hospital.

Among the attendees were the members of the board of directors of the club Mrs. Samia Abu Al Fotouh, who is responsible for the club activities in Abu Rish Children’s Hospital, Mrs. Eman Abdel-Latif, and Mrs. Tahani Zaher, and in the presence of the Dean of Faculty of Medicine Dr. Hala Salah.

Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Dr. Rasha Ammar, Director of Abu Rish Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Fatina Fadel, who is responsible for the kidney transplant department at Abu Rish Children’s Hospital.

It is one of the sustainable projects. Over the past 10 years, the club has been supporting the kidney transplant department at Abu Rish Hospital.

The club also donated to prepare intensive care and operations rooms.

IWC Giza bought 120 Ramadan boxes worth 15,600 Egyptian pounds and delivered it to the cruiser going to Sioux.

The boat arrived in Siwa safely and thankfully the boxes were distributed to the people in need.
