Inner Wheel Club D95

On Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Nile Maxim Boat in Zamalek, members of Inner Wheel Club of Garden City under the chairmanship of Mrs. Nehad Badawi hosted their annual ceremony. The ceremony was organized by Mrs. Didi Sourani and Mrs. Iman Afifi.

The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Zainab El-Ghazali, chairman of Inner Wheel Club District 95 Egypt & Jordan and Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat, who is responsible for the IWCs website with the presence of a large number of IWCs members, presidents and a large number of women of the society. The ceremony included a performance by singer Nadia Mustafa.

The chairman gave the singer the club shield and a painting painted by Artist Iman Afifi.

The ceremony’s profit was dedicated to the club’s projects this year.

One of the projects of Inner Wheel Club of Petra this year is to donate sewing machines and equipment to the sewing training project in Jerash, affiliated to Princess Taghrid Institute for Development & Training in order to provide women with employment opportunities, empower them and provide them with a decent future.

Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Maali El-Gemaei, organized an important seminar for the distinguished journalist and author Ibrahim Issa and conducted substantive dialogues about the movie “Guest” and its events. The seminar was attended by the chairmen of Inner Wheel District 95 Egypt and Jordan, former chairmen Mrs. Samia Abul Fotouh and Mrs. Susu El Esawy and members of the Board of Directors Mrs. Iman Abdel Latif, Mrs. Salwa Zaki, Mrs. Sanaa Eid and 50 members of the club, including Mrs. Bahia El-Maadawy, Mrs. Hasana Riyad, Mrs. Alya Hassouna, Mrs. Madiha Mohi Eddin, Mrs. Jihan Bashir, Mrs. Mawaheb Abou El Azm, Mrs. Mony Abou El Zahab, Mrs. Sally Al-Naqadi, Mrs. Majda Al-Alfy, Mrs. Nelly Al-Melawani, Mrs. Nehal Al-Hafnawy, Mrs. Nesereen Al-Mahdi, Mrs. Marian and Mrs. Wafa Sabri. The meeting was also attended by members of other Inner Wheel Clubs in East, West and North. Several topics were discussed and the audience interacted with Mr. Ibrahim Issa in a fruitful meeting and he answered all the audience questions in a lively dialogue and a wonderful presence.

On 25 January 2019, members of Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis made a trip to the proposed new capital of Egypt and visited Fattah Al-Alim Mosque and the Cathedral. They had lunch at the Lebanese restaurant of Caracas accompanied by Mrs. Manal Al Attar and a number of members. We were all happy with the trip and it was a wonderful day.

On Saturday, 2 March at the Grand Nile Towers Hotel, Inner Wheel Club of Al Geizah held its annual Fundraising Event for children’s heart surgeries at Abu Rish Hospital.

The ceremony was supervised by Mrs. Dina Gharab, chairman of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan, Mrs. Laila El Asad National Delegate, Mrs. Zeinab Taki Deputy Chairman, Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Mona Al-Gamiee, International Organizer, Mrs. Nana Tarshobi Bulletin Reporter, and Mrs. Nenet Sharara who’s responsible for the development of the clubs.

The ceremony was wonderful and full of love, fun, and enjoyment, which confirmed the friendship of the members and their support for the club project.

On Sunday, 3 March 2019, Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura at Marshal Al-Gezirah Hotel under the chairmanship of Mrs. Nariman Abdulla. In the presence of Mrs. Nana Tarshubi, IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan Bulletin Reporter Mrs. Nana Tarshobi held a seminar on “How Women Should Maintain their Beauty” in the presence of Dr. Maryam Etman Nutrition Specialist. Dr. Shaimaa Imbaby Skin and Laser Specialist. The seminar was sponsored by Pharmex Pharmaceutical Company, which provided free samples to attendees. Attendees asked for consultations from the doctors and the seminar was filled with love and friendship.

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El- Nozha had a meeting with Eng. Samia to discuss the subject of “Women Who are Breadwinners”

Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Maali El-Gemaee and in partnership with Inner Wheel Club of Nile headed by Mrs. Amina Nassar, organized a seminar for the Saudi writer, poet and novelist Noor Abdel Mageed on Tuesday 26/2/2019 on Le Pasha Boat in the presence of a large number of members of Inner Wheel of Club Zamalek, including Mrs. Nelly Helmi, Mrs. Salwa Zaki, Mrs. Sanaa Eid, Mrs. Rrora Mohi Eddin, Mrs. Bahia El-Maadawy, Mrs. Hoda Refaat, Mrs. Marian, Nadia Ezzeldin, Zizi El Saadi, Nevine Daddoush, Mrs. Enayat, Mrs. Gihan Beshir and Inner Wheel Club of Nile including Mrs. Magda Fahmy, Mrs. Magda Mokhtar, Mrs. Bella and Sahar El Nady, Mrs. Lamiaa El- Monofy, and Mrs. Nabila Galal.

The writer’s talk was interesting, where she spoke about many topics, including her journey with writing and what novels she wrote, she also spoke about her last published novels “Ana Shahera… Ana Al- kha’en”, “La Scala”, “Ragm El- Foraa'” and “Oreedo Ragolan.” she also talked about the situations she went through and the novels that was turned into series and her role in writing the scenario. The audience interacted with the writer and they asked her multiple questions. At the end of the seminar, she signed her novels for the audience and took a picture with them.

On Saturday, 23 February 2019, women of Inner Wheel of Club Tanta headed by Mrs. Omima Nassar, Mrs. Magda Shaker, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Shadia Al Shennawi, Treasurer, Mrs. Sonia Sobhi, and Mr. Mona Khalil, visited St. George’s Coptic Cathedral to congratulate his Excellency Paula Bishop. For his role as the Archbishop of Tanta and they spent a wonderful time with him. We wish him most success.
