Inner Wheel Club D95

With the launch of this year’s International Women and girls slogan, the members of Inner Wheel Al Mansoura toured the sustainable project of Al-Zahira Village on Tuesday 28th of May 2019. The club president Nariman Abdulla was accompanied by Mrs. Nanaz Tarshooby, Editor-in-Chief Basma Salih, Ms. Shadia Al-Ashri and Mrs. Maisa Hadidi. The visit was extended by Dr. Farah Al-Shennawi who was appointed by the National Council at Daqahliya that supports with the Daqahlia governorate initiative to develop the village of Tamai Zahira, the birthplace of Umm Kulthum!

The goal of the visit is to support and stimulate the work of girls and women and provide them with their requirements ladies walked the visit and welcomed the attendees and the work and carpets produced were admired by everyone!

On February 28th 2019, the members of Inner Wheel Al Giza Club participated in Abu Al-Reesh Children’s Hospital by donating and following up the process of filling the hole between the atria of the child Habiba Mohammed Attia 2 years 9 months!

The donated amount was 23 thousand Egyptian pounds.

The event was attended by Mrs. Lobni Al-Koumi, the club’s president and Mrs. Doreya Al-Ayouti, the treasurer.

Inner wheel Port Saeid president Mrs Tina Al Sayyad, Mrs. Samia Matar Vice President and Mrs. Maha Al-Moji Secretary of the Fund, Ms. Shehinaz Al-Khamesi, Mrs. Hanan Guaima, Ms. Labani Al-Laythi have participated in a special Iftar that was held on Monday the 27th of May 2019 at Nour Al Rahman Association for special needs!

Special donations have been made by some members!

On Sunday 25/11/2018, members of Inner Wheel Club of Tanta headed by Mrs. Omyma Nassar, Vice President Mrs. Magda Shaker, Honorary Secretary Mrs. Ghada Rahmi, Treasurer Mrs. Shadia Al Shennawi and the club reporter Mrs. Al-Zahra Al-Kholy visited Oncology Hospital in Tanta. Where they offered medications needed to treat children with leukemia are a sustainable project that happens every year.

The members of the club were received by the Hospital Director, who praised the club for its aids to the hospital and discussed with them other Hospital needs. Members expressed the club’s readiness to work to meet those needs in the foreseeable future, if God wills.

Mrs. Al-Zahra Al-Kholy

On Tuesday 4 December, Inner Wheel Club of Cairo was honored with the visit of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan President Mrs. Dina Ghorab and Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti, at the Automobile & Touring Club of Egypt. The meeting was attended by a large number of club members and the meeting atmosphere was full of love and friendship. The President of Cairo Club talked about the club projects (Jasmine Center for Care of the Elderly and People with Special Needs and the Nursery Project) and how we are working this year on developing them. The President of the region also briefed us on this year projects concerns women and girls, she spoke about her proposal to conduct special seminars about problems women are objected to such as domestic violence, female genital mutilation and others. She also made some remarks, gave several tips, explained some articles in the Inner Wheel Constitution and focused on how important for the members to know the constitution, she also praised the club’s sustained projects. There were other friendly discussions during the meeting which were enjoyed by the attendees.

The president of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan 2018/2019 Mrs. Dina Gharab accompanied by her honorable council visited Inner Wheel Club of Port Said, headed by Mrs. Randa Ramadan and Inner Wheel Club of Ismailia, headed by Mrs. Magda Roza. Under the presence of the former regional presidents Mrs. Afaf Majid, Mrs. Awatef El-Nasharty and a group of other IWCs in Egypt.

The meeting began with national peace anthem, followed by a welcoming speech by Mrs. Randa Ramadan. The meeting was opened by Mrs. Dina Ghorab where she gave a speech about the brave city, its honorable history, the courage of its people and their steadfastness throughout the ages in all the wars it has faced against the enemies and spoke about courageous the youth defended their homeland. On November 20, 2018, Inner Wheel Club of Cairo held a seminar at La Pasha boat, attended by speakers Mrs. Amina Khalil, nicknamed The Iron Lady, and Mrs. Heba Abu Ouf, a notable fashion designer. The seminar was attended by a number of Cairo Club and IWCs members. We enjoyed our guests talk about women’s dreams that can be achieved regardless of age. We have taken the opportunity today, which is the Prophet’s Birthday to celebrate it together, thus achieving harmony between IWCs members.

On Thursday, November 15, 2018, members of Inner Wheel Club of Giza invited Mrs. Dina Gharab, president of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan, Mrs. Laila Al-Aswad (National Delegate), Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti (Honorary Secretary), Mrs. Kamelah Tawfiq (Treasurer), and Mrs. Mona Al-Ghali (International Organizer), to attend Egypt Children Choir Concert led by Maestro Selim Sahab on Cairo University’s Theater, which the club has been supporting for the last three years.

At that day, the club contributed with 150 meals and some sweets for the choir children. The show was enjoyable as Maestro Salim Sahab led the team brilliantly and introduced some new talents who impressed the audience.

On Monday, 26/11/2018, Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek under the presidency of Mrs. Ma’aali organized at the Cultural Salon of Le Pacha Boat Al-Basha organized by the club periodically a seminar for the writer, novelist and creative scenarist Ahmed Murad. Where he talked about his career and the production of his novels and films including Vertigo, Diamond Dust, the Blue Elephant, Deer Hunting Season, Ard al‑Ilah and1919, in the presence of the board of directors, Mrs. Samia Abu El Fotouh, Mrs. Nelly Helmi, Mrs. Iman Abd El Latif, Mrs. Nadia Abu El Ela, Mrs. Hanan Sabri, Mrs. Rrora Mohi El din, Mrs. Sanaa Eid, Mrs. Hoda Malash, Mrs. Amina Abu El Dahab and Mrs. Tahani Zaher with the participation of a selection of the club members and the other Inner Wheel Clubs reached to 50 participation.

Inner Wheel Club Nasr City held a Ramadan celebration on Monday the 27th of May 2019 at Dar Al Huda for orphans in Nasr City.

Dar Al Huda includes 32 children. The club provided breakfast for the kids and the members distributed Eid clothes and lovely balloons that turned the place’s hall into a huge football court.

The celebration was attended by members of the club Siham al-Jawhari and Awatef El Nacharti ,former presidents and Hadeel Shatat, president of the club Shahinaz Hafez, chairman of the board of directors of Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq, Manal Badran, Samia Salem and Jehan Mabrouk!
