Women Empowering Project – IWC of Alexandria Cleopatra Opens a New
Literacy Class in Shods.
Beneficiaries 25 Ladies
Under the auspices of District 95 Egypt & Jordan, led by Mrs. Hanaa El
Sadat,
and inspired by this year’s theme 💪 “Step Up & Lead by
Example”,
the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Cleopatra,
headed by Mrs. Maha Halabouni with Mrs. Doaa Hamdi as Honorary
Secretary,
in cooperation with the Shohadaa El Canal Development Association,
opened a new literacy class in the Shods area of Alexandria on Thursday,
October 30, 2025.
📖 The class includes 25 women of different ages who are learning to
read, write, and study mathematics,
attending lessons four times a week for a period of three to six months.
🎓 Upon successfully completing their exams, participants will receive
a certificate qualifying them to continue their education and join the
preparatory stage.
✨ This initiative is one of the sustainable projects of the Inner
Wheel Club of Alexandria Cleopatra,
reflecting our firm belief that education is the key to empowering women
and shaping a better future. 💕
