Friendship and Service Flourish at Petra’s End-of-Summer Evening.
On Monday, October 5, 2026, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra, under the
presidency of Mrs. Suha Khouri, hosted a delightful end-of-summer
evening at the Club President’s farm.
Organized by the President and the Club’s Board members under the
theme “Grow and Flourish,” the evening brought members and guests
together for dinner, music, and karaoke in a warm and welcoming
atmosphere.
Among the distinguished guests were Mrs. Fatina Abu Jaber, President of
the Inner Wheel Club of Amman, and Mrs. Noha Asfour, former Newsletter
Editor of District 95 – Egypt and Jordan, along with Board members
from the Inner Wheel Clubs of Amman and Philadelphia. The gathering
provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendship, fellowship,
and connections among Inner Wheel members.
The proceeds from the evening will support two community organizations.
Dar Al-Salam Home for the Elderly, under the care of the Missionaries of
Charity Sisters, provides comprehensive care and support for elderly
people and others in need. Beit Mariam Center in Al-Hashmi Al-Shamali
supports girls and their families.
Through the dedication of its Board members and the generosity of
members and guests, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra transformed an evening
of friendship and fellowship into a meaningful opportunity for community
service, truly bringing the spirit of “Grow and Flourish” to life.
