“Why Not?” — A Journey of Courage and New Beginnings

Under the theme “STEP UP and Lead by Example,” the Inner Wheel Club
of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona El-Saeed, hosted Ms. Marwa Haridy,
social media influencer and founder of the group “Leh La’?” (Why
Not?), on Saturday, December 6.

The guest speaker spoke about the beginnings of the group, which was
initially created as a space for exchanging opinions among members and
acquaintances, sharing advice, personal stories of challenge, and
providing room for open and heartfelt conversation. Over time, these
stories transformed into genuine encouragement, determination to move
forward, and a firm decision never to return to the past.

The idea became a message…
and the message became a new path.

Starting with just 300 friends, the group continued to grow and expand
until it reached approximately 43,000 members today, ranging in age from
25 to 85 years old.
Because new beginnings have nothing to do with age—new beginnings are
a choice.

Three women from the “Leh La’?” group shared their experiences,
speaking about the vital role the group played in their lives, how they
faced challenges, overcame hardships, and embraced new beginnings that
brought them hope and happiness.

At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees joined together in singing
the patriotic song “Fiha Haga Helwa” in celebration of our beloved
Egypt, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and positivity.

The seminar was honored by the presence of Mrs. Siham El-Gohary, founder
of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, a former International Inner Wheel
member, and former National Representative of District 95 (Egypt and
Jordan). Members from various Inner Wheel clubs were also in attendance,
strengthening the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and affection among
club members.
