under the theme “Step up and Lead by Example,” marked the occasion
of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which coincided
with the 10th day of the campaign to combat violence against women and
girls.

Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital, chaired by Dr.
Ola Awais, with Honorary Secretary Ghadeer Saeed, in partnership with
the Rotary Club of Alexandria Capital, chaired by Adel El-Laqani, with
Honorary Secretary Mai Khadraji, organized the Comprehensive Annual
Medical Caravan for All Specialties at the Vocational and Social
Rehabilitation Association (Intellectual Education Foundation for Girls,
Siouf Boarding School).

This initiative involved collaboration with the Faculties of Medicine,
Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Early Childhood, Science, and Girls’
Sports, as well as the Research Institute and Higher Institute of
Health, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dalia Abdel-Moaty El-Nili and
in cooperation with the pioneering Rotary program “Uniting to End
Cervical Cancer.”

A total of 361 patients received medical care across multiple
specialties:

Orthopedics: 54 cases

Pediatrics: 21 cases

Ophthalmology: 30 cases

ENT: 45 cases

Internal Medicine: 53 cases

Dermatology: 60 cases

Pulmonology: 20 cases

Dentistry: 45 cases

Gynecology: 33 cases

Medications were provided free of charge, and 35 critical cases were
referred to Al-Miri University Hospital in Alexandria.

Prof. Amal El-Sisi, Professor of Pediatrics at Cairo University, Fellow
of the Royal College of Physicians, London, and Head of the Rotary
Pioneer Program “United to End Cervical Cancer,” conducted awareness
sessions on:

Cervical cancer, including causes, prevention, early detection,
vaccination, and treatment

Combating violence against children with special needs

Rabies and first aid for dog and cat bites

Club members also inspected the foundation’s facilities and garden and
donated essential food supplies. Additionally, 400 meals were
distributed to children and their families.

Special thanks to the Bab Al-Khair Charitable Foundation (headed by Ms.
Dina Hesham), Be Positive Group (headed by Eng. Heba Abu Al-Saud), and
Al-Abd Tourism Establishments (Ms. Reem Al-Miladi) for their generous
support.

The event also included entertainment, educational segments, and gifts,
bringing joy and awareness to all the children.
