Clubs Launch Wellness Club with a Healthy Longevity Seminar
Under the theme “Grow and Flourish” 🌷, the Inner Wheel Club of
New Cairo, led by President Mrs. Lana Abu El-Gheit, launched the first
activities of its Wellness Club on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in a joint
meeting with the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, led by President Dr. Heba
El-Adl.
Mrs. Nihal Elbakry, who initiated the Wellness Club at New Cairo, opened
the meeting by emphasizing that caring for personal health and
well-being is essential to sustaining a life of service.
The gathering featured an informative lecture by Mrs. Riman Ramadan, a
Healthy Longevity Expert, who discussed the foundations of healthy
aging, including stress management, quality sleep, balanced nutrition,
physical activity, psychological well-being, and strong social
connections. Practical exercises and interactive activities enriched the
session.
The event was attended by distinguished District 95 Board members: Mrs.
Hanaa El-Sadat, Immediate Past District Chairman; Mrs. Dalia Nour,
Honorary Secretary; Mrs. Abeer Ezzat, International Service; Mrs. Basma
Ghali, District Editor; and Dr. Amel El-Ghitany, Webmaster. Also present
were Mrs. Siham El-Gohary, Past Board Member of Inner Wheel
International; Past District Chairmen Mrs. Zeinab El-Ghazaly, Mrs. Nora
Fayek, and Mrs. Hala Hegras; and members of Inner Wheel and Rotary
Clubs.
In appreciation of her valuable contribution, both clubs presented Mrs.
Riman Ramadan with plaques of recognition.
Marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the clubs launched a Pink Pin
initiative, with proceeds dedicated to Baheya Hospital to support free
breast cancer treatment. Gifts from Biostream for Medical Products added
to the occasion, with special thanks to Dr. Heba El-Adl for coordinating
with the company. The Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo also presented
commemorative gifts as tokens of friendship and affection.
The meeting concluded with a promise of more engaging activities and
surprises for Wellness Club members, reinforcing the importance of
health, friendship, and community service.
