Pink Gathering for Cancer Awareness and Psychological Support.
Under the theme “Grow and Flourish” 🌷, the Inner Wheel Club of
Amman organized a Pink Gathering on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, during a
breakfast hosted by Club President Mrs. Fatina Muna Abu Jaber at her
home, to support cancer patients and raise awareness of their
psychological and humanitarian needs.
The gathering was attended by Mrs. Azah Hamoudeh, President of the
Philadelphia Club; Mrs. Suha Khouri, President of the Petra Club; and
members of the Amman, Philadelphia, and Petra Clubs, reflecting the
spirit of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation.
The program featured an awareness lecture by Mrs. Rasha Salib, a
clinical psychologist specializing in marital and family therapy. She
discussed the psychological impact of cancer on patients and their
families, emphasizing the importance of emotional, social, and family
support throughout treatment and recovery.
Mrs. Ekhlas Halaseh, a cancer survivor and member of the Sanad group,
shared her inspiring recovery journey, highlighting the importance of
hope, patience, early screening, and psychological support.
The gathering also welcomed Mrs. Kifah Al-Hafi as a new Club member. She
brings nearly 25 years of international experience with United Nations
organizations and UNICEF, alongside extensive experience in humanitarian
and volunteer work.
The event reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to cancer awareness,
psychological well-being, and compassionate community service.
Together, we grow and flourish through friendship, hope, and care.
