Report on the Annual General Assembly of IW District 95 – Egypt &
Jordan (2024-2025).

In an atmosphere filled with elegance and friendship, the Annual General
Assembly of District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) was held on Friday, September
17, 2025, at the prestigious Hilton Signia Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The
event was graced by the presence of distinguished IW ladies, board
members, and club representatives.

The ceremony was gracefully hosted by Mrs. Laila Al-Mashini
Salameh.guiding the event with poise and professionalism.

The ceremony started with the national anthems of the Hashemite Kingdom
of Jordan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, marking the formal opening of
the event.

District Chairman Mrs. Abeer Dajani delivered a heartfelt welcome
speech, expressing pride in the remarkable achievements of the clubs
throughout the year. She extended her gratitude to the board members and
club presidents for their dedication and collaborative efforts.

Following that, National Representative Mrs. Samia Abou El-Fotouh gave a
speech praising District Chairman Abeer Dajani’s leadership and
highlighting the year’s evident successes that elevated the standing
of Inner Wheel in both Egypt and Jordan.

Vice Chairmen Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat and Mrs. Mervat El Azzouni also
addressed the audience, commending the spirit of unity and cooperation
that prevailed across the district.

Subsequent speeches by other esteemed board members followed, concluding
with the presentation of appreciation certificates by District Chairman
to all club presidents, who received them in person or through their
representatives.

In recognition of her exceptional service, Mrs. Abeer Dajani also
received symbolic gifts from the clubs and board members.

A highlight of the event was the arrival of Her Royal Highness Princess
Basma Bint Talal, whose presence added great honor and prestige.
Commemorative photos were taken with Her Royal Highness, and the
national anthems were played once again.

This was followed by another address from Mrs. Samia Abou El-Fotouh and
a speech by Mrs. Abeer Dajani, accompanied by a video presentation
showcasing District 95’s projects and activities over the past year.

Her Royal Highness Princess Basma warmly thanked her dear friend,
District Chairman Abeer Dajani, for her remarkable achievements and her
uniquely motivated leadership.
She then delivered an inspiring speech, commending the humanitarian and
social contributions of Inner Wheel women. Her Royal Highness graciously
received commemorative gifts presented by the Egyptian delegation and
Jordanian clubs.

In a moving tribute, the following awards were presented:

Mrs. Saadatt Marzouk, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria, received the
Margarette Golding Award.

Mrs. Soheir Mikdadi, Inner Wheel Club of Philadelphia, received the
Honored Active Membership Award.

International Representation Nomination

A proud moment for District 95 was the official nomination of Mrs. Nahla
Qubain to represent the district on the International Inner Wheel
Board—a recognition of her experience, leadership, and dedication to
the Inner Wheel movement.

The ceremony concluded with the handover of leadership from Mrs. Abeer
Dajani to incoming District Chairman Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat, who delivered
her inaugural speech expressing hope and commitment for a year filled
with achievements.

A group photo session with Her Royal Highness and the new board members
followed, culminating in a delightful luncheon.
