“She Deserves Safety” – A Seminar on Combating Violence Against
Women
Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” IWC of Garden City
headed by Didi El-Sourani hosted an important collaborative event, with
the Rotary Club of 6th of October, headed by Sherine El-Halaby.
The seminar took place on Wednesday, November 26, at the Pilotek Library
in Arkan Mall, Sheikh Zayed, under the title “She Deserves Safety.”
The session focused on violence against women and was held in support of
the global campaign to end violence against women.
The event was honored by the presence of:

Dr. Naglaa Shata, Head of the Mental Health Committee, Rotary Egypt

The seminar was presented by Sherine El-Halaby, and attended by a large
number of club members, along with members from other Inner Wheel and
Rotary clubs.
