District95 Egypt and Jordan “Supporting 134 Children at Fairhaven School”
Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” the Inner Wheel Club
of Alexandria Mediterranean, led by President Heba Abou El Nasr and
Honorary Secretary Hoda Arafa, visited Fairhaven School, which is
affiliated with the Evangelical Church.
The school accommodates 134 children with various disabilities from all
backgrounds and religions. It provides specialized educational curricula
tailored to each child’s needs, in addition to training in handicrafts
and drawing. The school also includes a boarding section that houses 18
children whose families are unable to care for them due to domestic
conflicts.
Club members spent the day with the children, offering emotional support
and financial assistance to help the school continue its meaningful
mission. This initiative is part of the club’s sustainable development
projects and reflects its ongoing commitment to inclusion and community
service.
