Under the theme “The Heartbeat of Humanity,” on Monday, February 17,
2025, as part of its ongoing sustainable projects, the Inner Wheel Club
of Mansoura, led by Ms. Shadia Al-Ashry, visited the Al-Nour Wal Amal
Association for the Blind.
Years ago, the club initiated a program to teach mothers of blind
children how to read Braille, enabling them to support their children’s
education and help them become active members of society. The delegation
was warmly received by Ms. Effat Abdel-Jalil, a board member of the
association and a fellow member of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura.
During the visit, President Shadia presented the club’s annual
donation check of EGP 10,000. The event was filled with hope and
optimism for a brighter future for these children.
As the second half of the holy month began, the Inner Wheel Club of
Mansoura continued its annual tradition by visiting Dar Al-Nabaa, a
center for children with special needs. The club has been supporting
this center for many years. During the visit, members served Iftar meals
to the children and staff and also provided a cash donation.
The delegation then proceeded to the Health Improvement Association for
the Care of Orphan Girls, an organization dedicated to sheltering,
educating, and supporting orphaned girls, including assistance with
their future marriages. The club, which has been following up with this
home for years, provided Iftar meals for the girls and staff, along with
a cash donation.
In total, donations to Dar Al-Nabaa and the Health Improvement
Association amounted to EGP 15,000. The visit left everyone with a sense
of fulfillment and renewed energy, inspiring them to continue giving and
supporting those in need.
Wishing everyone a blessed and happy new year!
