Ramadan Iftar for Patients’ Families & Suhoor for Night Workers

On March 17, 2025, under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, led by Ms. Lina Shaker, distributed 1,400 Ramadan iftar meals to the companions of patients in the Emergency and General Surgery departments at Demerdash University Hospital. Several club members participated in this initiative, which aimed to provide support during a critical time. While families come together to break their fast in peace and warmth, those accompanying patients in emergency departments often experience anxiety and distress. Many face urgent situations, such as acute heart attacks, diabetes complications, traffic accident injuries, or emergency surgeries.
