Eid Joy and Ramadan Support – A Sustainable Initiative
the Inner Wheel of Garden City , headed by Mrs. Didi Al-Sourani,
Honorary Secretary Mrs. Alia Lashin, and Treasurer Mrs. Effat Fawaz,
organized a charitable visit on Saturday, February 14th to Al-Marwa Home
for the Elderly in Heliopolis.
During the visit, the club distributed Eid clothing to 14 elderly men
and 11 elderly women. In preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan,
the club also provided essential food supplies, including eggs, milk,
sugar, ghee, rice, oil, macaroni, chicken, tea, Maggi soup, freekeh,
beans, cowpeas, and lentils.
This initiative is one of the club’s sustainable projects, reflecting
its ongoing commitment to supporting and caring for the elderly
community.
