Iftar Al-Khair 2026 – Spreading Joy to Orphans and Children with
Special Needs
Under the theme “Step Up & Lead by Example,”IWC of Nasr City and New
Cairo) held the annual Iftar “Iftar Al-Khair” On March 3, 2026, at
Dar Al-Nusur, Air Force Complex, welcoming over 250 children and young
adults, including orphans and children with special needs, supported by
ten charitable associations in District 95 (Egypt & Jordan).
The event was held under the esteemed patronage of Siham El-Gohary,
former National Representative,and Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City
Foundation.
This annual celebration has been held since 1997. The event was attended
by a distinguished gathering of Inner Wheel leaders. We were honored by
the presence of Mrs. Hanaa El-Sadat, Chairman of District 95 (Egypt and
Jordan), and Mrs. Dalia Nour, Honorary Secretary of District 95, along
with former District Chairmen: Mrs. Afaf Maged, Mrs. Mona Abou
El-Fotouh, Mrs. Laila El-Aswad, Mrs. Nelly Helmy, Mrs. Hala Hegres, Mrs.
Nora Fayeq, Mrs. Awatef El-Nashart Chairman Extension and Inner Wheel
members from all clubs across the district, The celebration featured
volunteer performances, interactive activities, and gift distributions,
spreading joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging to every child. The
event also highlighted Inner Wheel’s ongoing humanitarian impact,
including support for education, therapy sessions, medical aid, and
underprivileged families.
