Under this year’s theme, “ Step Up and Lead by Example ” the
Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx , led by Mrs. Ghada Barakat, participated
alongside Rotary Cairo North Satellite–Pulse, led by Mrs. Rabab
El-Fiky, and Rotary Golden Square, led by Mrs. Hala Farouk, in the
initiative launched under the patronage of Rotary Cairo North, chaired
by Mrs. Lamia Eid, with the participation and collaboration of several
Rotary clubs.
The initiative, titled “Iftar Saem – Rotary Kitchen for Development
and Empowerment,” aims to provide 100 meals daily throughout the holy
month of Ramadan in Ramlet Bulaq Association, in support of
underprivileged families and in promotion of the values of social
solidarity.
The Inner Wheel Club Sphinx contributed EGP 17,000 in support of this
humanitarian initiative.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed and
participated in providing meals during the holy month. May this
charitable work be counted among their good deeds.
