A Journey to the Stars: Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City Visits the
Egyptian Space Agency
Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” the members of the
Inner Wheel Nasr City Club, headed by Mrs. Mona El-Saeed and joined by
members from various Inner Wheel clubs, made a special visit to the
Egyptian Space Agency on Monday, November 17, as a sincere step toward
promoting scientific awareness and inspiring future generations.
They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Maged Ismail, CEO of the Agency, who
greeted the delegation and emphasized the importance of spreading space
science and enhancing scientific awareness within the community.
✨ The program included:
An introductory lecture on the establishment of the Agency, its key
projects, and the history of Egyptian satellites.
A guided tour inside the laboratories to explore the latest technologies
used in designing and testing space systems.
At the end of the visit, the two parties exchanged shields of
appreciation and symbolic gifts, highlighting a spirit of cooperation
and support for science and knowledge.
Following the visit, the members gathered for lunch in a beautiful
lakeside setting at Plateau Restaurant, JW Marriott Hotel.
As an expression of the value of friendship among the members, the Inner
Wheel Nasr City Club presented symbolic gifts to the trip participants,
crafted by the students of the Thermal Printing Department at the Bright
Tomorrow Association for Special Needs Care.
