Empowering Orphans for a Brighter Future
Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” on May 24, 2026,
three Board Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman accompanied Club
President Mrs. Shada Anabtawi Al Khalil on a visit to the Al Aman Fund
for the Future of Orphans, a pioneering humanitarian institution
dedicated to supporting orphans after they leave care homes upon
reaching the age of eighteen, helping them build safe and stable
futures.
Al Aman Fund is a non-profit organization established in 2003 under the
generous initiative of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. Its mission
is to support orphaned young men and women through education, training,
and psychological and social empowerment, enabling them to integrate
into society and build their future with confidence and dignity.
It is worth noting that the number of students enrolled in the Fund
since its establishment has reached 5,054 students, while the number of
graduates has reached 3,766, of whom 78% have secured employment
opportunities.
During the visit, the Club President presented support from the Inner
Wheel Club of Amman to Al Aman Fund in recognition of its humanitarian
mission and in support of the initiative of the young man (K.M.), who,
despite his young age, was known for his big heart and generous spirit
of giving.
Although his life ended far too soon, his initiative continues to carry
a meaningful humanitarian message worthy of ongoing support,
representing hope and empowerment for orphaned young men and women to
build their futures with confidence and dignity.
